New Beginnings

Lily's Announcement

ʜᴇʀᴇ's ᴛʜᴇ sᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴛʜᴀɴᴋ ʏᴏᴜ sᴏ ᴍᴜᴄʜ ғᴏʀ ᴀʟʟ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴏsɪᴛɪᴠᴇ ғᴇᴇᴅʙᴀᴄᴋ ɪɴ ᴍʏ ɪɴsᴛᴀɢʀᴀᴍ ᴅᴍ's

"I'm Pregnant" she said with an overjoyed look on her face. Remus' jaw dropped he was so happy for lily, so many thoughts were racing through his head, he was going to be an uncle James is going to be a dad and that this would change the future for them all.

*The next day*

James and Sirius woke up rapidly strapped to the beds by Lily, their memory from the night before was vague but they had a terrible headache suggesting to themselves that they were drunk. Lily walked into the room and said treating them like they were 4 years old
"Okay boys, I've decided to leave you there for the next five minutes so that I can talk without being wrestled by you two after I say this"
"Lils please let us go" whined James squirming around on the bed trying to break free, she slapped him across the face with the daily prophet and started to speak
"James, Sirius I'm going to have a baby" she said "and in this envelope is the gender" she said holding up a little yellow envelope with stars on it. The straps on the bed loosened and James and Sirius leaped out to give Lily a hug, they started ranting on about baby names and new houses and Godfathers until they were interrupted by Remus standing in the doorway.
"Sirius, I've decided to say yes we can have a child I called  last night they have a spot free for us and a woman to have it for us" Remus announced with a cough "we just have to pick who's genes we want it to have." James and Sirius couldn't believe what they had just heard there was going to be a mini Prongs and a mini moony or padfoot running around.

*Lunch Time*

The whole day had been dedicated to baby names and marauder 2nd generation nicknames, Lily and James had decided on Harry James Potter for a boy and Rose Lily Potter for a girl. Sirius and Remus had chosen Edward (Teddy) Remus Lupin-Black for a boy and Hope Sirius Lupin-Black for a girl. After 20 minutes of sitting around the Potters dining table talking about babies they had lunch and James screamed at Sirius
"I've got it the mini Marauders nicknames can be Prongslet for my kid and Paddy or Moonfoot for yours"
"Brilliant" They all replied and took Lily for a nap upstairs while the 3 marauders went to diagon Alley for the day ( Peter is still in Hospital)

Chapter 3: Pete's Present

The next Day the Four young adults went to pick Peter up from St Mungo's while Lily got her ultrasound in the nearby muggle hospital. Living as a witch since she was eleven she had wanted her first child to be delivered the muggle way to remind her of her heritage and to experience ultrasounds and other muggle pregnancy methods.

*St Mungo's*

The three men explained everything about the new additions to their families and bugging him that he has to ask Mary out already. Mary MacDonald had gone to Hogwarts with them and Peter had a crush on her since 5th year, now that everyone was starting to have families Peter had finally made up his mind. He was going to ask out Mary MacDonald.
