Genevieve POV

While I was serving a woman the cafe bell rang and there stood Alexander.

"Heyo Alex what can I get you?" I smiled at him
"Americano plz"
I nodded and went to make his coffee.

"Here you go, $2.35 ." I handed him the coffee.
"Thanks " he said while paying
"So Gene what do you want to be??"
"A doctor"
"OK!"
He was about to say something but another costumer came
"I'll take your leave now coffee won't serve itself." I said while waving at him
He smiled and nodded.

After serving 4 people I looked around the cafe and saw Alex staring at me I smiled at him and went towards him.

"Hey you still here"
"Why don't you want me here?"
"No just asking "
He nodded and said "So Gene you are pretty interesting girl"
"Why thank you "
"I umm just thought we can be umm FRIENDS "he asked while rubbing his neck

" OFCOURSE we can be friends Alex"
He smiled like he has won a lottery.

We talked about eachother.
His favorite color is black (typical boy)
Favorite animal wolf.
And he shared some of his childhood memories.

We were so lost in talk that we never noticed it was closing time.
"Now we have to part Alex it's late"
" Ya, you want a ride?"
"I guess I can use a ride"
He nodded and went outside
I locked everything and followed him
He had a Ford.
I told him the directions to my apartment.
"Thank you for the ride "
"No need to say thank you we are friends after all "
I nodded and got out of the car
"Good night Alex see you tomorrow "
"Good night Gene"he smiled
I turned towards my door and started walking after opening the door I turned to see him still there. I waved at him and locked my door. I heard a car start and go away.

While eating I got a call
*buzz buzz*
Who is it nowww?

MOM

" Hey baby you never called"
"Hey mom sorry I was busy"
I love my mom she is the BEST
We talked for sometime and then said our good nights and love yous

I went to my bed and thought about today

I MADE A NEW FRIEND
