Dahlia's POV
"Department of Mysteries" The elevator asserted as we arrived on the floor, we all followed Harry inside a room which he went down a column at a fast pace muttering something as he passed each row,
"He should be here" Harry asserted from his spot,
"Harry, it's got your name on it" Neville called out from behind me making me turn around to see him looking at a prophecy crystal, Harry picked it up and went into a small trance,
"Harry!" Hermione yelled as a Death eater made it's way towards us, I stood in front of the group,
"Remove the mask, Lucius" I spat, he did so and held out his hand.
"Hand me the prophecy" He demanded,
"If you do anything to us. I'll break it" Harry threatened then Bellatrix's laughter echoed through the room as she walked up beside Lucius,
"He knows how to play. Itty, bitty, baby Potter" She teased,
"Bellatrix Lestrange?" Neville asked,
"Neville Longbottom, is it? How's Mum and Dad?" She taunted,
"Better, now they're about to be avenged" He growled as he pointed his wand at her, I held him back and held up my own wand to defend them from any spells,
"Now, let's everybody just calm down, shall we? All we want is that Prophecy" Lucius sighed,
"Why does Voldemort need Harry to come get it?" I asked.
"You dare call him that?! You filthy Blood traitor!" Bellatrix spat making me glare at her,
"It's alright. She's just a curious girl, aren't you? Prophecies can only be retrieved by those about whom they are made. Which is lucky for Potter really. Haven't you always wondered the reason for the connection between you and the Dark Lord? Why he was unable to kill you when you were just an infant? Don't you want to know the secret behind your scar? All the answers are there, Potter, in your hand. All you have to do is give it to me, then I can show you everything" Lucius bargain turning his attention to Harry.
"I've waited 14 years..." Harry trailed off,
"I know" Lucius sighed,
"Guess I can wait a little longer. Now!" Harry yelled,
"Stupefy!" We all jinxed, they all vanished into their smoke allowing us to run in different directions, I bumped into Ginny,
"Stupefy" I jinxed as a Death eater came to grab her, I took her hand and lead her to meet the others, we all bumped into each other, a couple of Death eaters came towards us, Ginny held up her wand,
"Reducto!" She jinxed, they was a large blue explosion down the column,
"Oh shit" I muttered as Prophecies began to fall off the shelves at an alarming rate.
"Get back to the door!" Harry ordered before we turned and followed his lead towards the door running from destruction behind us, we ran through the door and fell, we stopped abruptly a metre off the ground before dropping on the floor, I groaned as I stood up looking around at the surroundings,
"Department of Mysteries. They got that right, didn't they?" Ron commented, I approached an archway that voices were coming from,
"The voices, can you tell what they're saying?" Harry asked as he came up to the side of me, I shook my head,
"Harry, they aren't any voices" Hermione retorted,
"I hear them too" Luna informed as she appeared on the other side of Harry.
"Get behind me" I ordered as I held my wand up and turned around, they all followed my lead before we were covered with black smoke, I got down to the floor and when the smoke cleared I stood up and found that everyone minus Harry were being held by a Death eater with a wand to their throats, I growled as Lucius approached us chuckling,
"Did you actually believe or were you truly naive, enough to think that children stood a chance against us? I'll make this simple for you. Give me the prophecy now or watch your friends die" He threatened, I went to raise my lift my wand but Harry stopped me making me raise an eyebrow to him and he gave me a weak smile, a white light shone to the left of us making me turn slightly to see Dad approaching us,
"Get away from my Daughter" he demanded, punching Lucius in the face making me gasp before the other Order members arrived freeing the others as Dad pulled Harry and myself to cover,
"Now, listen to me. Take the others and get out of here" Dad ordered,
"What? No, I'm staying with you. Dahlia-"
"You can go to hell if you think I'm leaving you behind" I growled, they nodded before we came out of the cover and began firing jinxes at them, a curse was sent Harry's way but I blocked it along with Dad, we nodded at each other before rapidly firing spells at them, I flung a jinx at the Death Eater sending him into the wall behind making me smirk as Harry's Death eater soon followed,
"Nice one James!" Dad exclaimed making my eyes widened as I looked towards Harry who seemed stunned, Dad finished Lucius off by stunning him, we all smiled at each other before he was hit with a spell making Harry's and mine smiles drop as we looked over to see Bellatrix with a smirk on her face, Dad fell into the archway, Moony came up and grabbed Harry as Auntie Mel grabbed me,
"No!" Harry cried as I was stunned by the scene, I felt tears run down my cheeks before I collapsed to my knees letting out a scream and a pulse, I pulled myself from Mel's grip and chased after Bellatrix,
"Dahlia!" Mel yelled after me as I went in the same direction,
"Crucio!" I cursed and she fell on to the floor, laughing as she wriggled about,
"Do it! She killed your Father..." Voldemort hissed,
"Dahlia! Behind you!" Harry alerted making me turn around to see Voldemort stood there making Bellatrix cackle,
"Eva-" I was cut off by him knocking me down and away next to the chimneys,
"You shouldn't have come here Tom" Dumbledore asserted as Harry ran over to me, while Bellatrix went into the Floo system,
"D? Dahlia?" He whispered as Dumbledore and Voldemort began dueling, Voldemort began firing spells off his connection with Dumbledore at Harry so I put up a temporary shield
"Are you okay?" I asked, he nodded
"Yeah" He smiled, I put the shield down as we stood up, Voldemort created a Python out of fire that came towards the three of us, I waved my wand upwards creating a Lioness out of water that tackled the Python extinguishing it, I glared at Voldemort before he sent glass shards towards us making my eyes widened, Harry pulled me back as Dumbledore turned the shards into the dust, I sighed as he vanished, I looked around for any signs of him reappearing before I collapsed to my knees as the scenes of Dad, Cedric's, Aunt Lily, Uncle Prongs and Mums deaths flashed through my mind making me scream as I gripped my head,
"Dahlia?" Dumbledore called gaining my attention for a small bit.
"You've lost old man" Voldemort hissed from inside me before I let out a cried, "So weak, so vulnerable" he spat as he tortured me from inside,
"It isn't how you're alike, it's how you're not" Dumbledore asserted,
"Dahlia?" Harry asked, I looked towards him and saw the others in the distance with worry etched into their faces, I closed my eyes re-playing the great memories that we've all had these past years,
"You're the weak one, and you'll never know love or friendship" I mumbled before groaning in pain as he left my body,
"You're a fool and you'll loose everything" he hissed before the Aurors arrived with Fudge, Voldemort looked towards them before disappearing.
"He's back" Fudge gasped as Harry helped me up and pulled me into a hug, Auntie Mel ran over to me as I pulled away from Harry and she tackled me with a hug,
"Let it out princess" she whispered, holding me closer, I broke down letting an agonising scream while I cried into her, someone else joined the hug making me look up to see Uncle Moony,
"He's gone..." I sobbed pulling them closer.
