Logan's PoV

The cherry hill Janus mentioned before was what it sounded like. A hill covered in cherry blossom trees. We sat at the top on pillows with a blanket stretched out underneath us. The radio faintly playing in the background as we ate. I hadn't eaten anything with the others, so I was quite hungry. With the others, they all talked and ignored me but hadn't allowed me to bring a book. Here, Remus did most of the talking. He acknowledged my presence though and asked my opinion. It was honestly refreshing. Janus changed from eating, to reading, and to listening Remus talk with a content look on his face. I could tell they cared for each other very much.

"The sunset never ceases to amaze me!" Remus interrupted himself and gestured to the setting sun in front of us. "It's so pretty!"

"Yes, it's beautiful..." I nodded, staring at the cottage in the distance and the flowers surrounding it. "What comes after is even more beautiful."

"Yeah, stars are pretty!" I looked over at Remus to see him grin.

"If I may ask... Why is your side of the Imagination in sections?"

"I noticed the collection of flowers that kept multiplying in Jay's room, so for his birthday, I made him this! He loves to garden, so I wanted to make a place for him to do that! He also really loves cottages, so I gave him that too!"

"Every year, Remus creates a new flower for me to tend. Soon, this place will most likely be a jungle." Janus stared at Remus with a soft smile.

"You deserve it! It's the least I can do for making you put up with my craziness!" Remus pulled Janus against him with a giggle.

"I don't 'put up' with you, Ree, and you know it." Janus reminded with a relaxed sigh following.

"You care for each other very much, don't you?" I asked before I could stop myself.

Janus snorted. He set his hat aside as he rested his head on Remus' shoulder. "Of course we do."

Remus blushed but happily responded, "Jay is my butt-buddy!"

"What he means is, we're together. Boyfriends."

"Yep! But it's more than that too! We're family! Not Patton's weird sense of family, but a real family!"
