i clutched my ticket in my hand like my life depended on it.

"why are you holding the ticket so tight?" Y/B/N said. 

"honestly, i don't even know." i said shooken up. 

i was at a theme park with my friends. 

i don't even understand why i'm here, i'm scared shit-less of roller-coasters.

but all i know is that my crush, vinnie is here.

that's all that matters.

"Y/N let's go, oh my god!" Y/F/N said, practically dragging you towards the queue line for mr.freeze.

"i think i'm fine, i'll just stand out for this one." i said presenting my fakest smile.

while my friend rolled her eyes, i could feel a pair burning on me.

i look over to find the one and only vinnie hacker.

his brown eyes gleamed in the sun, making me go into a trance.

before i could realize that i was out of it, i heard snapping in my face.

i smiled shyly at the pale skinned boy.

"i need you to promise me that you'll hold my hand whenever i'm scared." he reached his hand out.

i nodded my head a bit too hard and smiled like a big idiot.

we walked into the line of many teens and kids and waited till it was our turn to ride.

it was finally us in the front, waiting for the operators to open the gates. 

vinnie let me climb in first, before him. 

i was staring into the seats in front of us, trying to get my mind off how terrified i was. 

i felt vinnie nudge my shoulder and smile at me before grabbing my hand.

before he could even face forwards, the ride took off. 

i got off the ride feeling dizzy and sick, and vinnie quickly noticed.

"Y/N, i think you should sit down." he giggled.

i wandered to the side of the ride and sat down on a bench.

vinnie stood between my legs and i rested my head on his stomach and wrapped my arms around his waist.

we stood like this until we heard our loud friends coming off the ride.

"Y/N that was the BEST RIDE EVER!" A/F/N said.  

i couldn't even bare the thought of lifting my head up, knowing it was gonna make me lightheaded. 

vinnie quickly let me go as we heard distant 'awe's' from the group.

"it's not like that, i swear!" he said.

i felt my head drop from the sudden movement, but so heart. 

i got the strength to get back up and follow the group.

as we were walking around, looking for food at the theme park, i felt something graze my hand.

i look down and find vinnie trying to grab my hand. 

i pull away from him, considering the act he just pulled a while ago.

vinnie then tries again but i look him and he's giving me puppy eyes.

i then remembered what he told me.

"vinnie what are you scared of?" i questioned.

"i'm scared that if i let go, you'll disappear."

i suddenly forgot how to breathe.
