I woke up to a notification from someone. I look at my phone to see that it's 1pm. Late, I know. The others were still asleep though. I manage to get away from Avani's grip and head to the bathroom trying my best not to make any noise. I turn on my phone to see : Nick Call me
So that's what I do.
~Calling Nick~
"Hello ?" I said unsure of what he wanted. "Hey !" "You wanted to tell me something ?" "Yeah uhm uh can we hang out today ?" "Uh Nick I don't think it's a very good idea if we go on a date this soon-" "It's not a date ! Think of it as two friends hanging out." "Friends ? Really Nick ?" I say with a chuckle at the end. "Oh come on pleaseeee ???" He said with a pleading tone. I sigh. "Fineee." "Thank you ! You won't regret it." "I better not." I say chuckling before hanging up.
What did I get myself into ? I thought laughing internally.

I got into the shower and turned on the water. I let out a little gasp as the cold water touched my skin. And so I started thinking... thinking if I was doing the right thing. Thinking about what's gonna happen tonight. Thinking if-... oh my god I need to stop. I'm thinking too much. I need to just enjoy myself and have fun. With that thought I finish my shower and get out. I dry my hair and and get into my outfit.

I put on some light make up and comb my hair. I then curl it. I put on some shoes and walk out of the bathroom. When I enter my room my eyes land on the little teddy. The one Nick gifted me. Mr. Brown. Yeah I know, a really original name for a brown teddy bear, whatever. I sigh. When I look at him so many memories come flooding back. ~~~~~~ "This is for you." Nick said. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" I said while giving him a big hug which he returned. I put the small teddy bear in my bag. I then turned around and realized how close I was to him. Our faces were millimeters away. He was looking at my eyes, then his gaze went down to my mouth, and up again. He put his arms around my waist and brought me just a little bit closer to him.
"Is this the part where you kiss me?" I said with a slight smile. He smiled and then said "Let's find out." He said before resting his lips on mine. ~~~~~~ I open the door to find Nick, sitting down on my bed, my teddy bear in hand. The one he won for me.. he looks up at me in surprise, but then looks back down at the bear. "Hey.." I say with a shaky voice. "You.. kept this." "Y-yeah.." "Why..?" "I-I.... that's not important. What are you even doing here." "I just wanted an excuse to see you- I mean to check up on you- I mean- fuck !" I laugh at his frustration. He looks up at me with a smile. I... I missed this. "Hey y/n ..?" "Yeah ?" "Can we be friends ? I just don't want things to be awkward between us anymore." Friends ? You know we can't be friends. I still have feelings for you, you idiot ! I know I shouldn't be friends with him but in the moment I say : "Sure !" "R-really ? Great ! Um I'll see you around." He comes closer and hugs me. I hug him back. Nick, he's... he's hugging me. I lose myself in his warm embrace. I close my eyes to savor this moment. If only this could last forever.. _____
