Chapter 8: Learn To Let Go

----( 3rd Person POV )----

It's been a day since Abaddon's introduction to the family and things were lighting up, Raiden gave them all a chance to redeem themselves, Qrow was planning what to say when he tells Raiden the truth, Yang was trying to figure out her motives when she joined in Raiden's abuse, and Ruby was trying to practice the lyrics given to her by Pyrrha this morning. While Ruby was practicing, Raiden called her into the backyard although that didn't stop the rest from eavesdropping at them

Ruby: So Raiden, why did you bring me here?

Y/N: Overnight, me and Abaddon were thinking of unlocking your mana

Summer: What?

Ruby and Raiden turned around to see Summer, Tai, Raven, Qrow and Yang observing them, Ruby only hoped Raiden doesn't scream at them, it's only 7am damnit, she didn't want to hear him screaming this early in the morning

Y/N: Yeah, I'm unlocking Ruby's mana, I can't trust you all yet so I'm not unlocking all of your mana

Qrow: We understand Raiden, were just here to watch

Y/N: Is that so? Well then, enjoy the show

Raiden then turns attention into the forest, he then raised his right arm up and made a fireball, he then tossed the fireball to a tree and set it in flames

Y/N: That was just a regular fireball I made with my semblance 《Pyromanic》 now then, how about we fire it up with some mana

Raiden raised his right arm up again and summoned another fireball however his right arm was glowing blue which intrigue them all. After a few seconds Raiden tossed the fireball into a different tree but instead of burning the tree itself, the tree exploded with other trees getting caught by the explosion, burning down a huge chunk of the forest. How big was the size of the destruction? As big as a football field, Raiden looked at his family only to see their shocked expressions

Summer: (Oh. My. Oum)

Qrow & Tai: (Never pissing him off again)

Raven: (Such power, could mana empowered semblances be more stronger than the maidens?)

Yang: (He's this strong, but during our fight I never saw that glow.... was he.... holding back?)

Ruby: (Oh boy, good thing we're very far away from the nearest village so at least no one would notice)

Y/N: And that, was a mana empowered fireball. Now from what you all saw mana can empower semblances, but you can also use it defensively----

Ruby: ----But what about out my speed semblance? I mean you're gonna give me mana right? So what will happen to my speed semblance?

Y/N: We'll have to discover that together. Oh and you can tell when someone is empowering thier semblance with mana because of the blue glow

Tai: Does anyone else have mana other than you or Abaddon?

Y/N: I don't think so. Mana came from Abaddon's world, they used mana as a barrier against magic users, so mana is technically aura but made to defend someone from magic, and from the looks of it aura can defend you from physical harm

Raven: So magic exists in Abaddon's world but not ours? Quite interesting

Y/N: Yeah. Now then Ruby, are you ready?

Ruby: Ready as you are

Raiden held on both of Ruby's hands as their hands began glowing blue telling them that Raiden is now unlocking Ruby's mana
