"W- Wait for us!". A6d was already gone when bbh screamed those words. He sighed and turned around, meeting with the eyes of a certain chicken and fish. "Oh right, I need to leave you with someone here...", he murmured to himself

"Hey bad, are you coming?", skeppy asked, not even looking at him while getting his sword and the bow of his friend

When he turned to bad, the only thing he could see was an open door, water and feathers everywhere, and a wild bbh yelling at different villagers, asking to take care of the foo- i mean, the "pets" for him

He finally convinced one and returned to skeppy with a smile

"... o k... what was that?"

"I thought it would be nice to ask the good sir to take care of Chimkin and Mr Squeegy for us instead of just leaving them in the empty house..."

A yell was heard from outside. "THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS DOING, COME ON LETS GO BEFORE WE LOOSE THE THIEF!", a6d urged

"........... language"

The duo took their weapons and bags and run towards their friend. Once they met up, A6d explained to them that there were still some fresh footprints in the ground, slightly covered by snow, and they seemed to get into the forest at the buttom of the mountains

The trio followed them, hoping they were from the mysterious person and not just a villager.

Trees covered their heads again. The only sounds they could hear were their own steps and the weak sound of the wind which increased slowly.
The forest continued going up to almost the top of the mountain, making it difficult and tiring to climb

Some minutes passed by. The village was just a small dot in the ground, and the trio decided stop for a second

"Hey, a6d, how much is left till we reach the top?", bbh asked, prepearing to rest

"Since you insist on asking, we won't stop till we find the guy who stole our food". A6d bent down to check the footprints, which were vanishing slowly because of the incoming snowstorm

"I'm with you", skeppy exclaimed. "I want my food back!"

A6d looked at him, raising and eyebrow. "So your motivation is the food"

Bbh was sure he had heard those exact same words somewhere else uwu...

"Isn't it weird though? we have been going as fast as we can and yet there is no signal of the thief". Bbh looked around, as if he was expecting a trap or something

Skeppy nodded. "That's true... How fast is this guy?!?"

"If you guys keep complaining, of course we won't find them"

And they started walking through the mountain again

"Hey, a6d! can we uh, take a small break? bbh is spitting........ foam?"

"WTF?!? Does he have rabies or something?". He just, sighed,,, heavily,,,,, "Alright, lets take a really small break..."

The trio found a small place that wasn't too covered by the snow and sat down, leaving their stuff in a rock behind them. A small *thud* was heard as their bodies collapsed in the snow, their legs thanking for the rest. A6d got the map he bought in the village and spread it out, so the others could see

He started talking. "So somehow, we managed to travel through a whole mountain in less than a day-"

"I've never walked so much in my life oh my god..."

"uUh guys". Bbh joined the group. "I know we are all angry with this guy for stealing our muffins, but can't we just let it pass? We have other things to do, like look for the Nether portal"

A6d stared at him for a second, pensative. "It's not only because this person stole some of our stuff. You heard the villager, this guy was so fast that they couldn't even see their face, and if they are going towards the portal too, it's better we check out how strong they are before it's too late"

"I'm sure he is just weak and the only thing they can do is running away from us", the diamond man chuckled at his own comment

"Yeh! Skeppy is right. If this muffin only runs, we don't need to worry too much"

A6d frowned. "You are underestimating the enemy"

"Or you are overestimating them!", the other two said almost at the same time

The wind started growing again and small amounts of snow started falling, announcing the snowstorm was here.
The footprints dissapeared under the white layer of snow.

The french man just sighed and folded the map, getting up again

"Alright... at least lets get some shelter from the storm. We don't want to get caught by mobs in the middle of this mess... i can barely see you both"

The other two smiled. "Yes!"

In that moment, an arrow cut their words and flew through the white fog formed by the snow, in A6d's direction. Moved by his instinct, he barely dodged the attack, which created a small cut on his check

Skeppy and bbh, who only heard the sound, turned to where the arrow was released.

"What th-"

They stopped at the sight of a6d's pale face. He, who almost never got scared, had his pupils dilated in fear by the arrow who had the full intention of killing him

Bbh started shaking a6d by his shoulders. "HEY, A6D! Are you alright? Please say something!"

After blinking and looking to his friend, his eyes went to the top of a tree. Of course, the other two did the same

"Wh- who are you-?"

A shadow felt from the tree, meeting the others. Their movements were soft but determinated, filled with strenght. They had an old crossbow in one hand, and an axe on their back.

It was obvious they didn't just know how to run away from others...
