That's not fair..They all decided to pick on us. Why should we be cursed if they made us suffer each day...

I move my hair so my right eye is covered.

We need to get out of here...Ace, I'll let you take control...

I remember there was a small town nearby the forest here, we just have to find it.

We spent the rest of the day looking for the town.

I'm beginning to lose hope..

It sounds like...a waterfall!

Ace sprints to the sound of a waterfall.

There's a waterfall!

Water!

Immediately I began drinking the water.

The water tastes sweet!

"Alessio, I swear to god if you shout out Cannonball, I'm going to hit you."

There's someone else here!

"Wait Aio....stop..who's that?"

I stop drinking the water and I can see two people from the reflection of the waterfall.

Fuck what if they know it's us who broke out of prison???

Then we're just gonna have to run for it again.

"HELLO SIR, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!"

"Alessio, don't scare him!"

I turned around.

There was a boy with blond hair and a girl with black hair slowly walking near me.

They don't smell like their humans.

"Oh shit you're young....I thought you were a grown up because of your height."

"My height?"

"Dude I'm 5'9, you're at least 5'11."

"I don't know what you're talking about, I'm still 5'5."

"If you say so. Did you come front the other town?" The boy asked and looked genuinely concerned for me.

The other town is called Northon Lyx.

"Yeah..It got dangerous over there..I felt unsafe the last couple days so I ran away to here.."

They took me in. Their names are Alessio Saurmaw and Aio Lonepike.

Do you think we could trust them?

I don't know for sure.

"Okay Aio, I'm going out-Whoa who are you?"

Alessio stared at me except something was off. He dyed his hair red.

"What're you talking about?"

"STRANGER DANGER!" He screamed.

"Alessio What the fuck, it's me Axel."

"Ohhh, So you're friends with Alessio."

"Stop playing around Alessio, that hair dye won't do anything,"

"Im Alec, Alessios brother. Identical brother."

Axel: "Then whys your hair not blond?"

Alec: "This is my natural hair color, Alessio dyed his hair blond."

"I feel like such a dumbass, I apologize for thinking that you were Alessio."

He chuckles and then smiles.

"It's okay, now let me take you grocery shopping!"

He grabs my arm and dragged me throughout the entire walk throughout the store.

He hopped into one of the shopping cars.

"Push me now! By the way I forgot to ask, what's your name?"

"It's uh Axel Luntalon."

"Interesting last name, but then again my last name's Saurmaw. Now let's GOOOOOO!"

He's like a little kid..

Little kid..I didn't even get to say goodbye to Ambrose or Aunt Jane...

I pushed him towards the cereal isle.

"VROOM VROOM, GET OUTTA THE WAY PEOPLE!" He shouts to the people nearby.

We received stares from strangers but it didn't matter to Alec.

"Don't Let Alessio know that I purchased Cinnamon Toast Crunch okay?"

He grabs three boxes and tosses him into the cart.

"Capiche?" He sticks out his pinkie.

I chuckle and wrap my pinkie around with his.

He squeezes mine then lets go.

"By the way is there a place you know where to get some hair cut and dyed?" I asked him and he nods.

"Oh my god Axel, you look like a whole new person." Alec squeezes my shoulders.

I got my hair cut so it was now it was shorter and it could cover my cursed eye.

"I really liked your original hair color but this black color is great to!"

"Alec I'll repay you in the future when I have money."

"Oh no it's perfectly fine, it's all free of charge."
