Hi! So, I haven't posted in a year! This is a tragic story, I'll write a cheerier one by request. Thanks for supporting me!

You are in Hufflepuff,  fifth year, and half-blood.

Oh, his soft hair, eyes, and the way he smiles! Cedric Diggory was too handsome, with the stocky buildup. 

I stared at him, trying to drink up all of his body features. Him and his friends were walking in the hall for breakfast. I was petrified as he walked past my friends and me, wearing his charming smile. I could look at him all day! Talented, and as perfect as a sleek racehorse. 

I shook my head. No. He and I? Not a chance. He would choose hot Cho, but at least he was my friend since my third year. That would probably be as close as we could get.

Probably. My brain jolted my slow, swirling thoughts. Probably! Probably, we could share the love! Instead of 'probably we'd never be together'. There was a chance! Maybe, with my hardworking skills, I could be his girlfriend! Determined by the thought, I finished the rest of my breakfast with a formulating plan.

I walked past y/n. I felt her staring at me, her lovely large e/c eyes. We blushed when we locked eyes, but I recovered with a charming grin. 

Cho patted the seat next to her. "Would you like to join me, Cedric?" her voice had a slight wave when she pronounced my name. I glanced at y/n, but she seemed lost in thoughts. I grinned apologetically with Cho, whose dimples faded.

"No, thanks. I'm fine," I responded as I slipped next to y/n and grabbed a fresh, hot, steaming loaf of toast.

Ugh, y/n! I was centimeters away from his loving manor, his charming devotion to only me.

What was wrong? Were my dimples not attractive enough? I don't think so, even the chosen one is in love with me. Half of the school boys must be fawning over me, huh! Why, I need to get rid of her! Their friendship must turn to dust, or better, ashes!

I blushed when Cedric sat beside me and absentmindedly twirled my h/c hair. I was inches from his lips, to think of it! He refused Cho to sit next to me. I should greet him, to be not so hostile.

"Hi," I turned to Cedric. He was spreading butter on his hot toast. His movements were so calm, yet accurate. No wonder I'm so in love with him.

"Earth to y/n!" Cedric chuckled. "Maybe you should get enough sleep. After all, the tournament pickings will be tomorrow. You wouldn't want to miss it, huh?"

I tried to relax and giggle. "Oh, yes. Enjoy your breakfast!" I stood up to leave the Great Hall.
