telling him that you're pregnant (requested)

As soon as the front door opened you were rushing into Michael's arms and holding onto him tightly.

"Whoa!" He laughed. "I guess someone had a good day," he joked as his arms wrapped around you just as you lifted your head from his chest and took his hand.

"I have something to tell you. Something really important and something we've both been wanting for so long." You brushed your thumb over his knuckles, letting it wander to his tattooed finger before you stopped.

"Okay. What is it?"

You took his hand and led him up the stairs. "Sit on the bed and close your eyes. And don't you dare peek!" He raised his eyebrow before shaking his head with a laugh and sitting on the edge of the bed.

You grabbed the pregnancy test from the bathroom. You looked at it again. It was so surreal. Every time you read the result, your heart hammered against your chest. The thought of you and Michael actually starting your family together was overwhelming but in the most incredible way.

"Baby girl! I love you but I'm getting impatient."

You laughed through your tears. You made your way to where he sat on the bed. You took his hands and placed the test in one of them, holding your breath as his eyes opened.

They instantly traveled to the rest in his hands. His breath hitched before he looked up at you. You could see the tears swimming in his eyes as he looked between you and the rest that read 'PREGNANT'.

"You're serious?" He asked as a shaky breath fell from his lips.

"I'm serious. I'm pregnant! We're having a baby!"

A tear fell from his eye and he pulled you into his arms.

"This is the most incredible day of my life. I can't believe we're having a baby." He sniffled, still in disbelief, but also in awe.

You lifted your head from where you had laid it on his shoulder. You caressed his cheek while his hands moved to your stomach. "I'm gonna be a dad," he mumbled in disbelief.

"And the most incredible dad, at that." You added causing him to lift his gaze from your still flat stomach.

"And you'll be the most incredible mother. I'm so excited to be starting our family together. I can't wait for our baby to come."

You've never seen him so happy before, and that said a lot since he's usually a big ray of sunshine.

"You're already glowing."

Your lips locked with his. His lips moved so softly against your own at first before moving more passionately. With every kiss, it seemed that he only craved the taste of your lips more.

But you pulled away with a giggle as his hand brushed over your stomach. His beautiful eyes lit up, making them even more beautiful than usual.

"I love you." He whispered. "And I love you, little baby, so much!"

You chuckled tearfully and laid your hand over his. He was gonna be the most wonderful dad. You knew it already.
