"Chloe, dear, why don't you go and dance"? André said to his daughter. Chloe looked around the ball. It was a masquerade ball so she couldn't make out anyone's face.

"But daddy, you know Alix and I always hang out at these things" Chloe said.

"Sweetie, I don't know if Alim brought her this time" André said.

"Fine, I'll dance but only by myself" Chloe frowned and walked onto the dance floor. "This is so stupid" Chloe mumbled and twirled around.

"I wonder where Alix is"?

Chloe spun around, right into someones arms. "Omg, I'm so sorry"! Chloe looked at the stranger.

She was about the same height as her and had red hair.

"Who are you"? Chloe asked. The stranger smiled. "Call me...Violet" she said.

"Ok, sure" Chloe laughed. "Not very fitting, especially when you have red hair".

"Blame my friends" Violet said and spun Chloe around.

"Why's a pretty girl like you dancing all alone"? She asked.

"I was waiting for my friend, I haven't seen her all summer" Chloe said sheepishly. "She sounds important" Violet said.

Chloe blushed. "I kind of have a small crush on her but I don't know how to tell her". Violet grinned and pulled her closer. Chloe sucked in her breath.

"Maybe it's best to get straight to the point" Violet whispered. Chloe turned red.

"Wait, can you like two people at the same time"?

"How old are you"? Chloe asked. "16, you"? "15". Violet glanced behind Chloe and nodded at someone.

"Well, Miss Bourgeois, it was lovely dancing with you". Chloe stopped. "You're leaving"? Violet nodded.

"I'll see you around" she kissed Chloe's cheek and left. Chloe stood frozen in shock.

She would never forget Violet. With her red hair, strong grip and aquamarine eyes. "I'll find you again eventually" Chloe vowed.

School started up again and everyone was worried about Chloe. She didn't talk much and kept spacing out.

Also quiet, was Alix. She wouldn't talk to anyone, not even Nathaniel.

"I think both of them have crushes" Alya said.

"Of course you would think that" Marinette said.

"I agree, why else would they space out all the time" Nino said, supporting Alya's idea.

"Chloe told me she met some girl at a ball just before summer ended" Adrien said.

"So that confirms my theory" Alya smiled proudly.

"What about Alix"? Marinette asked.

"No one knows, she's an enigma" Adrien said. "We should go, before we're late" Nino told them and they left to class.

Chloe was still thinking about Violet.

Even though Alix looked like her. Red hair, blue eyes not to mention taller but her friends have never called her Violet.

"Everyone pair up, for the remainder of class, you'll be ballroom dancing" Mr. D'Argencourt announced.

Most people groaned except Adrien, Chloe and Alix, who have danced before. The music started and everyone started to dance or attempted to dance.

Chloe sighed and spun around by herself. She knew no one would want to be her partner. She turned and someone took the place as her partner.

"Alix"? Chloe stared at her. "Hey" Alix smiled.

"Why are you dancing with me"? She asked. "I've liked you for a while now, Chloe" Alix said. "What"? Chloe sputtered.

"I heard sometimes it best to get straight to the point" Alix whispered. Chloe's eyes widened.

She felt the same strong grip she did at the ball.

"You're... Violet"?

Alix grinned at spun her around. "Great job, Miss Kubdel and Miss Bourgeois" Mr. D'Argencourt said. "Everyone watch how they do it".

The class stopped and watched them waltz around.

"You can't be" Chloe said.

"Violet was my code name in an operation Adrienette" Alix explained.

"I..." Chloe just stared at her unable to find words. The music ended and the two girls stopped.

"That was great, Chloe" Sabrina praised the blonde.

"I didn't know you could dance"! Kim said to Alix.

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me" Alix smiled at Chloe before following her friends into the locker room.

"Are you ok, you look like you've seen a ghost" Sabrina said. Chloe ignored her and ran into the locker room.

"Chloe"? Marinette stared at her. "Are you ok"?

"Where is she"? Chloe looked around until she saw Alix. "I'm not letting you disappear on me again" Chloe said, marching up to her.

"Darn, I thought I was good at that" Alix smirked.

"Just shut up" Chloe grabbed Alix's shirt and pulled her into a kiss.

Gasps flew around the room as Alix put her arms around Chloe's shoulders, pulling her closer.

"Look's like you were right Alya" Marinette said.

Alya was too busy taking pictures to hear her.

The two girls pulled away. "Were you waiting to do that for a while"? Alix teased.

Chloe smiled.

"You have no idea".
