Hey guys! it's my first ever fanfiction and its of course of the one and only "surgeon of death" (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This will contain the same plots with one piece but also a few changes of course...
I am not good with short fanfictions or one shots so this...
The next day morning I was healed a bit but there were scars on my face....though temporary it wasn't good to look at....Ace felt bad and came up to me with a fox mask on
"Booh!!" Ace shouted which made me jerk back a bit
"A-Ace that scared me what are you doing!!"
"Hahaha my bad just a joke you seemed so out of it recently so I tried pulling a prank, still worried about your scar"
"A-ah well I am not concerned about the scar but the stares its quiet uncomfortable"I said as I avoided eye contact
"What about you wear this mask then its my favourite among all,aint it cool?
"Hah are you sure isn't it your favorite?"
"Yup but I am growing too old for it and you resemble my younger brother alot "he said a he pat my head
"Ace you have a brother!?"I replied
"I see that I haven't told you about him"he grinned with star eyes as he was about to narrate a while novel P.S the crew was fed up and went away with a tired facepalmed reaction..... " have you heard about the recent trending pirate Strawhat luffy?the one that rampaged in Envies lobby?
I flinched as I heard 'Strawhat luffy" then suddenly something crept into my mind....I couldn't remember clearly but someone reading newspaper as he read out "pirate straw hat luffy rampages in Enies lobby and shoots the government flag as a challenge........
Ace told me about his brother how they spent their childhood in the woods all day playing and I felt comfortable listening about the times they'd spent he even told me their meeting again after three year in alabasta until
"I'll be setting off tomorrow to an island called banaro "he said with a serious look
"huh what are you going for?"
"I am after a certain man...his name is Marshal D. Teach"he said with an angry look
I stiffened up abit until he smiled and patted my head "You seem to be a swordsman I'd like to have a duel with you later if you are up to it....

Later that evening during the duel with ace I didnt weild my sword cause it held bad memories if what happened with the celestial dragons... I just fought with a random sword and knew that he was a good fighter
"I just cut you but why aren't you getting hurt"
"Hahaha its a devil fruit haven't you heard of it?they are weird fruits which give you power beyong human abilities but in return take your capability of swiming...There are of three types logia paramecia and zoan they*blah blah
He explains as we kept fighting until suddenly fire started burning from my right hand
Ace panicked thinking he had set fire on me but it wasn't affecting me...not a bit.the fire suddenly went of when ace stood there dumbstruck

I myself was more confused plus shocked and quickly shook my head "I don't know!"
He quickly ran in and brought out a book about devil fruits and started reading
"Lily I don't seem to find your devil fruits here are you sure its a devil fruit? *eyah eyah I am a little dumb too in this world there are powers only because of the devil fruits *

"Whattt!! I have powers too?wait hold on a second its so cool how do I do it? Teach me how to use it I wanna do it too!
"Hold on a minute"he said throwing the book away
"Eh??isn't that book important?" *this girl do sent know that her powers are not if devil fruit but she's too innocent to even understand* "Hahhh" he sighned "it seems I will be training you how to control huh?"
"Really you'll teach me?" I stood properly dusting my dress "I am looking forward to it" We laughed away as we spent rest of the day figuring out how to let out the powers....it was a well spent day full of fun memories but somewhere deep down in my heat I felt uncomfortable feeling like I forgot something important
