I was alone. In this new world, at first, I thought I was dreaming of the paradise that my son had wanted but that was not the case. When I woke up here what seems like sweeps ago, I was lying there with no one for miles around me. I had not left the spot I had awoken since I had no purpose. No reason to eat, to drink and no one to spend this seemingly eternal life with. All I can do is stare up at this shade of blue permanently painted across this new sky. Some trolls have passed by me, always asking why I was here. The only response I could give them is that I have nothing to live this new life with. In return, they allow me to know about themselves and the things outside my isolation. One spoke of a great demon killing every single being along with the land they inhabit. Another had barely managed to escape. These tales brought up such memories that were buried under everything in my mind that I may have broken down in front of them in tears. The family I had tried to raise and had grown had invaded my thoughts and they made a quick farewell with only one name left behind. English.
