I wake up the next morning and nick isn't in bed I grab my phone and look at it.

nick🧸: good morning baby, i went out with chase for a couple hours i should be back by 1❤️ i love you
Me: morning love and okay i love you too💜

I get up and walk downstairs and i see chase...

Me: hey werent you with nick he said he was going out with you
Chase: um no?
Me: okay thanks

I walk back upstairs and start to cry...
I start thinking to myself
What if he's cheating on me?
I thought he loved me...

I go on my phone and text nick

Me: hey when are you gonna be back home?

It's been 10 minutes and he still hasn't answered. Then I hear our door open and it's nick...

He looks at me and runs up to me

N: baby what's wrong?
Me: don't call me that
N: what why what happened

Tears were running down my face

Me: i thought you l-l-loved me nick
N: I do baby what's wrong??

He looks at me confused

Me: chase was here all morning and then you didn't text me back
N: baby what's wrong stop crying

He tried to come up and hug me but I pushed him away

Me: nick your cheating on me...
N: what no I'm not why would I do that
Me: chase was here all morning he said he didn't go out with you so where were you then?
N: Katy I'm not cheating on you
Me: then where were you because chase was not with you
N: Katy i don't wanna do this
Me: fine then we're done nick i can't deal with a cheater

I start to get up and grab one of my suitcases and start to throw clothes in it

N: Katy no what are you doing
Me: I'm leaving I'll just go back home
N: Katy no please
Me: nick you cheated on me what am I supposed to do
N: Katy I didn't cheat on you
Me: then where were you

I get up and look at him with tears running down my face

N: you really wanna know
Me: yes I would nick
N: fine

Nick puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out a ring box

N: see here this is where I was i was buying you a promise ring

He looks at me and puts it in my hand. I open the box and look at it and open my mouth

Me: nick I'm so sorry I just thought-
N: no no it's fine Katy whatever

He turns around and starts to walk out. I run in front of him and look at him

Me: nick I'm sorry it's just when I went downstairs this morning chase was here and I asked him why he was here and if you were home and he said he hasn't seen you and he wasn't with you. Nick I'm sorry

The mad looks disappears from his face and he looks sad now

N: why would u think I would ever cheat on you
Me: idk you wouldn't tell me where you were so I assumed the worst I'm sorry nick
N: i would never cheat on you katy ever
Me: i just assumed the worst. I'm so sorry nick

He looks at me and hugs me and I hug him back.

Me: im so sorry nick
N: it's okay Katy really i just wanted this to be a surprise but it's okay
Me: nick it's really pretty
N: lemme see it

I hand him the ring

N: i didn't get to tell you this the way i wanted to so im gonna have to do it now. Katy when you first texted me i didn't think anything of it you were just some girl that randomly texted me but then i got to know you and you weren't just some girl anymore. You were the person i wanted to spend forever with. You were the person i knew i wanted to be with. No matter how long it took, no matter the obstacles, i knew i would wait for you no matter how long it took. So with this ring i promise you a lifetime of laughs, smiles, and joy. I can promise you all of my love. I can promise you that no matter what i will always love you. I can promise to love you til my last breathe. And finally i can promise to support you no matter what and be there for you. I love you so damn much Katy so with this ring i promise my love to you.

I look at nick and just smash my lips on his.

Me: nick i love you so much

He puts the ring in my finger
