Time skip

One year later

Nick and i have been dating for 6 months today and i couldn't be happier. He's the live of my life and my soulmate. The promise ring he gave me months ago well that's back on my finger!! He truly is amazing and i wouldn't replace him with anyone else. Bryce and I are still best friends as well as charli and I. I moved back in the hype house about 5 months ago and i couldn't be happier with my life!!!

N: we're going out tonight for our anniversary baby
Me: okay where to wait that was stupid it's always a surprise with you Nicky
N: and after 2 years of knowing me you finally caught on

I giggle at him

Me: but the best question to ask is what do I wear?
N: fancy baby
Me: okay
N: but i gotta go get some stuff for our date
Me: okay baby

Nick gets up and gives me a kiss and walks out of the room.

NICK POV:

It's time... i walk into chase's rooms

Me: yo bro i gotta question
Chase: what's up
Me: i gotta go to the jewelry store wanna come with and help me pick something out

Charli shoots her head up at me.

Charli: like what?
Me: a ring...
Charli: a what
Me: shh
Charli: so your gonna?
Me: yeah i am

Charli runs up and hugs me

Charli: im so happy for u both
Me: i love her so much char
Charli: ik and she loves you so much, but can I go with ik what she likes
Me: yeah anything will help

Charli gets up and we walk out the door with chase

We get in the car and drive to the jewelry store
We get there and head inside

Lady: hi im amanda how can i help you today?
Me: I'm looking for engagement rings
Amanda: right this way

She leads us over to a whole selection

Amanda: here you guys go right here
Me: thank you

I look at all the rings and only one stands out to me and it's this one

Me: charli i think this is the one
Charli: it's beautiful she's gonna love it
Me: i hope so
Charli: nick she's gonna say yes she is madly in love with you
Me: i hope she does

I call the lady over and she comes

Amanda: everything going okay?
Me: yes i would like to buy this one
Amanda: oh yes of course

She takes it out of the glass and we walk over to the register she scans it

Amanda: okay so your total is gonna be $2,003.34
Charli: omg nick are you sure?
Me: only the best for my girl

I hand her my card and she swipes it

Amanda: okay thank you for shopping have an amazing day!
Me: thank you

We walk out of the store and get in the car
Charli: so how are you gonna do it?
Me: well dinner first then im gonna do it on the balcony in my room
Charli: why there
Me: that's where we shared our first kiss, and our first i love you, and when i gave her the promise ring
Charli: awe that's so cute

We get back to hype and I gave charli the ring to hold on to

I go back to our room and shes sitting in her phone.

Me: hey babe
K: hi
Me: almost ready to go
K: oh shit um give me 20 minutes

KATY POV:

I completely forgot to get ready I walk to the closet and grab this dress

I look at nick and do a spin

Me: ready!!
N: you look beautiful
Me: thank you and you look handsome

I look at nick and he's wearing a tux. Man i love this guy

Nick grabs my hand and we walk downstairs and head to the car

Time skip/ after dinner

Me: thank you for dinner baby i had the best anniversary ever
N: ofc love

We get in the car and drive back to the hype house

When we get there we head back inside and I go upstairs while was talking to chase

NICK POV:

I went up to chase because charli said he has the ring. I went and grabbed it from him and he said "good luck" I went upstairs to Katy and she was laying on the bed

Me: one more thing
K: really
Me: yep follow me

I grab her hand and pull her to the balcony. Once we get out there I grab both of her hands and look at her in the eyes. Then my eyes start to tear up.

K: nick what's wrong baby
Me: nothing im just happy
K: awh i love you
Me: i love you more, but look Katy-
K: are you breaking up with me oh no what did I do
Me: no no the complete opposite listen, katy i love you more than words could ever describe. You are my forever and my soulmate. Ever since i met you i have done nothing but smiled. You make me a better man Katy and i could never thank you enough for that. Listen i love you and i want to spend every waking minute by your side, to support you, to love you, and just to say I'm with the most amazing person alive. Without you i would be nothing, without you i wouldn't be here where i am today doing what im about to do. Look Katy im so madly in love with you you have me on one knee.

I get down on one knee and reach into my pocket

Me: Katy will you marry me?

She looks at me with tears in her eyes and her mouth wide open.

K: i love you and ofc I'll marry you!!!

I jump up and kiss her. I pull apart and slide the ring on her finger.

K: we gonna be getting married nick
Me: ik but I'm glad it's to you
