{{ A/N: Sorry for taking to long to update. I couldn't think of where to go with this, but now I do. Kinda. I'll try to update faster

Russia walked into his house and looked around. He was immediately hit with a blast of cold air as he walked inside. He wasn't surprised since his home was always freezing, but it still felt off. He wasn't sure why it felt off, but it did. He closed the door behind him and took off his shoes. He took his bag off then set it down next to the door.

"Папа?" Russia called out as he started to walk around. He couldn't hear his father reply, so he went up to his father's room. The door was close and the light was off. "Папа..." He whispered as he grabbed onto the doorknob and slowly opened the door. He looked inside and saw his father laying on the bed, seemingly asleep. He made his way over to the bed then crawled onto it. Immediately he noticed something off. The bed was wet. Since it was dark, Russia couldn't tell what it was, so his best guess was water. It didn't feel like water, but he couldn't guess what else it could be.

"It's so spooky," Russia whispered as he moved closer to his father. He shook his father's shoulder, trying to wake him up. It didn't work, so he kept trying until he accidentally rolled his father over. He was not ready for what he saw. His father's eyes were half open and his throat was slit open. Russia screamed in pure horror and backed away. He fell off the bed and he immediately started to run away, but something grabbed his ankle and made him trip then fall. He started screaming more as whatever grabbed his ankle started to drag him under the bed. He tried kicking the weird hand thing away, but it wouldn't let him go. He was eventually dragged under the bed and into the void.

Russia jolted awake and started shaking. He laid there for a few seconds before starting to cry. He knew it was just a dream, but he couldn't help but be scared by it. It felt so real, and he hated it. He noticed someone was laying next to him, so he crawled over to them and cuddled with the stranger. He didn't care who they were, he just needed comfort and maybe he can get it from this stranger. Russia should know at this point that strangers are bad, but here he was cuddling one. He was quite stupid, but at least the stranger was Canada, one of the nicer countries. Nicer to children, anyways.

Canada groaned and slowly awoke at the feeling of Russia trying to cuddle with him. He tried to move, only to discover one of his hands had been handcuffed to the bed. He sighed softly and frowned a bit. He looked down at Russia and immediately realised he was been crying. He hugged him with his free arm and rubbed his shoulder with his thumb. "Hey there, little guy." He said in his calmest voice. He was scared shitless, but he figured the child in his arms was probably even more terrified than he was, so keeping calm was a good idea.

Russia rubbed his eyes and looked up at Canada. "I'm not little." He said, frowning a little. He was much more relaxed now that he knew Canada was alive, but he was still scared. "Папа says... well, he says I'm little too. But I'm not." He hugged Canada and buried his face in the Canadians chest.

Canada couldn't help but chuckle. Russia was such an adorable kid. He had a major soft spot for children, and Russia was digging into that spot. "Awe! You're gonna be big one day, little guy." He smiled at Russia and his brain slowly started to realise his face looked familiar. He stared at Russia's face, trying to make connections in his brain to figure out where this child could've come from. Eventually, it clicked. It was Russian Empire's grandson, Russia. Canada felt a small pit form in his stomach. He wasn't sure why he felt so uneasy, but he was sure it had something to do with Russian Empire. He knew this wasn't going to go down well with the elder man, considering it most likely happened under his care. Canada tried to grab to Russia, but he quickly got stopped by the handcuffs that chained him to the bed. He scoffed and frowned slightly.

"You look upset," Russia commented as he once again snuggled close to Canada again. "Why is that?"

"I'm just thinking." Canada frowned and stared at Russia. "Your grandpa... he's gonna be mad, isn't he?" Another thought suddenly popped into his head. "Oh dear... your father too. He'll go on a rampage once he learns who took you."

"What does rampage mean?" Russia asked, staring up at Canada. "It sounds like an angry word."

"Well, it is an angry word. Um..." Canada frowned and gently pet Russia's hair. "I'm not sure how to describe it. Just... trust me when I tell you it's aggressive." He stared at the wall and sighed. He could tell Russia was about to speak, but he was cut off by the door opening. Canada tensed up a bit and held Russia close to him. He had no idea of who just walked into the room, but he was determined to not let anything happen to Russia. Not only did he want to avoid Russian Empire's and Soviet's conjoined wrath, but there was also an instinct he had to simply protect the child that was in his arms.

The mystery man walked over to the bed and leaned over so he could see Russia's and Canada's face. "Good. You're awake." Canada jolted from suddenly talking. He looked up at saw the person standing over them was Switzerland. He tried to pick up Russia, but Canada had too tight of a grip on him. Switzerland growled quietly and knees Canada in the back, successfully making him let go. "Don't even try." He said, as both a warning to Canada and Russia, who had begun to squirm around to escape his grip. Russia squirmed for a little bit then eventually listened and he stopped moving.

"Don't hurt him!" Canada exclaimed as he tried to sit up. It was a bit awkward because of his position, but he didn't care. He was just terrified of what Switzerland was going to do to Russia.

"I won't. I'm going to give him breakfast then get him cleaned up." Switzerland said as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out a key then unlocked the handcuffs so Canada could be free. Slightly free anyways. "After that, I'm not sure because it'll be in Finland's hands then."

Canada felt himself relax, but he was still nervous. He didn't want to trust Switzerland, but he didn't have a choice. "Okay... Please don't hurt him. He's a child!"

"Canada, calm down." Switzerland sighed and picked up a bag. It was the duffle bag Sweden had filled with Russia's clothes when he and Finland kidnapped Russia. "None of us are going to hurt Russia. We're not great people, but we wouldn't stoop so low to hurt a child. Especially one so young." He slowly backed away towards the door. "Things will be bumpy for a while, but they'll get better... not for you, but Russia." Before anything more could be said, Switzerland swiftly left the room and ran upstairs. Today was going to be a big day for everyone. The adrenaline was still pumping in everyone and the day would drag on forever. Hopefully, Russia wouldn't be too much of a bitch, but it was unpredictable with him. He was a crack case.
