"Hey mom what are your thoughts on Rose?" Wyatt asks Piper.
"Rose? We love her" she says with a smile "why?"
"Just curious" he quickly looks back down to his breakfast
"You like her don't you?' Piper smiles at her eldest son.
"Mom, please don't" Wyatt groans.
"Well weather you do or not, I approve" she smiles, but goes back to cleaning up.
"Morning" Chris walks in, "what you smiling about mom" Chis sits down next to Wyatt.
"Oh nothing" Piper sings, and Chris notices Wyatt roll his eyes.
"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, hmm?" Chris teases his brother.
"Shut up" Wyatt snaps at his brother.
"The fuck" Chris is confused
"Chris language" Piper points her finger at him.
"Sorry" Chris apologizes
"And Wyatt it's not that big of a deal, so what you like Rose" Piper shrugs
Chris spits out his drink in surprise and yips out a "what?"
Both Piper and Wyatt look at him is shock. "You have a problem with that" Wyatt asks.
"No, no why would I, I'm just shocked, ya know, it's Rose" Chris covers.
Wyatt gets up and storms out "y'all need to mind your own business" he yells on his way
"What, she's a beautiful girl, smart, funny, you all get along, I see why he's into her" Piper says
"Mom, I know that, I was just shocked okay" he starts to get up
"Oh you know huh" Piper is in a mood for teasing her sons this morning "what do you like her too" she smirks
"Mom, no, I don't see her like that"
(Wyatt Chris and Rose sit in the living room of the manor, studying/ school work)
"Ugh I hate chemistry so much" Rose throws down her pencil in frustrations
"Do you need help with anything" Wyatt asks
"Yeah, this one is just impossible" she rolls her eyes as she points to the question she is on
"I need a drink you guys want anything?" Chris gets up and asks
"Yes please, water, I'm so thirsty" Rose smiles up at Chris
"Yeah I'll take a water too, thanks bro" Wyatt says as he continues to read Rose's homework
Chris heads for the kitchen
"So you understand what I need to do" Rose asks Wyatt
He looks at the paper for few more seconds, "honestly no, I sadly didn't do great in chem last year" he slightly laughs
"Crap, okay, I guess I can text a friend from class" she leans back on the couch.
"Hey, so I had a question for you..." Wyatt starts
Rose sits up, "okay"
"I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date sometime?"...
(Meanwhile)
Chris starts walking back to the living room with the waters when he hears Wyatt ask Rose out. As much as he doesn't want to hear her answer he also does. And he tries to quietly walk back in.
Rose sees him though before she answers "Chris!" She exclaims "water yay, thank you thank you" she takes the glass as he comes around the couch and starts chugging it, she really was thirsty.
"So did you figure out the question?" Chris asks, even though he knows that's not what was being done
"No" Rose sighs and slumps on the couch again
"You want me to try and help?" Chris asks
"You wouldn't know, you're in the grade below her" Wyatt grumbles
"Except I'm in AP science so I am taking chemistry this year also" Chris smirks as he takes the paper to check the question
Chris starts to explain the question to Rose and Wyatt rolls his eyes
A couple minute laters Rose understands "oh my gosh, thank you, it all makes sense now" she pats Chris on the leg and Wyatt glares at her hand on his thigh
"No problem" Chris smiles back at her
They finish up they're studying and homework an hour later.
Chris cleans things up and takes the glasses to the kitchen as Wyatt walks Rose to the door.
"So back to my earlier question" Wyatt looks down at Rose "did you want to go out sometime?" He smiles down at her hopeful
She looks down at her feet, giving herself a couple seconds to think, "look, I'm flattered and all, but I'm sorry, I don't see you that way" she slowly looks up to him and sees how sad he is. He tires to hide it but not well. "I'm so sorry"
"It's fine, I guess.. you sure you don't want to try one date? Maybe it'll surprise you" he tries.
She shakes her had "no I'm sorry..." she doesn't want to do this but she feels she has too "I like someone else" she looks away embarrassed for some reason.
Wyatt looks shocked.. "oh, okay.. who is he?"
She looks him straight in the eye, "I'm sorry, I don't think that's really your business, besides does it matter?"
"I guess not... well I guess dive safe and enjoy the rest of your day"
"Wyatt" she grabs his hand "you are one of my best friends okay, I don't want this to change that"
He looks down at her and nods, and she hugs him, making sure they were okay.
"I'll see ya tomorrow, okay?" She asks before leaving.
"Okay" he nods and closes the door as she walks down to her car.
Wyatt walks into the kitchen to see his mom and little sister Melinda are home and Chris is helping put groceries away.
"Hey sweetie, why the long face" Piper asks
"Well, I asked out Rose out" he says
"Oh?" Piper seems excited at first and Chris freezes in place "you don't seem happy though?" Piper finishes
"Yeah, she likes someone else apparently" he sits and slouches. Chris smiles to himself before closing the fridge door.
"That sucks" Melinda snips.
Piper smacks her behind the head lightly and Mel rubs her head getting back to putting groceries away. "I'm sorry sweetie" Piper rubs Wyatt on the back
"Did she say who?" Chris asks
"No, she said it didn't matter"
"Hmm" Chris nods.
"Do you know who it is" Wyatt asks him
"No, sorry man" Chris says and goes back to putting groceries away
