~Sonic's POV~

"How're y'all liking the concert?" I asked the cheering crowd. A chorus of various screams replied. I smiled, this was normal for me. "Awesome! I'm glad!"

Someone in the crowd shouted, "I love be you, Sonic!"

"Aww, I love you too!" I replied with. After I got the crowd to calm down, I started talking again. "Okay, my last song of the night is brand new, this is the first time anyone's heard this. This song is dedicated to a good friend of mine, Shadow the Hedgehog. Is he here?" I scanned my audience, finally finding the dark hedgie. "Ah, hey Shads! Glad you could make it!" I waved at him and he waved back.

"Thanks for the invite, Faker~" he called out.

"How many times have I told you to stop calling me that!" I teased.

"0 times! Wait.. there was that one time when we made spaghetti together and you managed to get the sause all over you and the ceiling. That was hilarious!" He responded.

Everyone laughed at this and I blushed very red and mumbled, "You can shut up. And it wasn't all over the ceiling. Anyways, my last song, Nervous!"

The song ended and my fans erupted into cheers, they loved it! Further more, Shadow was smiling up at me. I think this was my best concert yet.

"Hey, Shads!" I greeted Shadow when he walked in the door after a yellow horse walked out, her turn being over. Shadow greeted me with a smile and a kiss.

But I didn't kiss him back. Instead I pushed him away and looked down, finding his shoes to be the most interesting thing in the world right now.

Shadow frowned, "What's wrong, babe?"

I sighed. "I don't know. I love you, but I also love Sally and I feel like I'm cheating on her. I feel like a terrible boyfriend." I admitted.

Shadow hooked a finger under my chin and gently guided my face up to look at him. "Look, you're not a terrible boyfriend. If it makes you feel better, we can limit it to hugs."

I stared into Shadow's eyes. "Really?"

"I care more about your happiness then anything else in the world. But then again, you could break up with her and marry me instead!"

I laughed, he always knew how to raise my spirits. "I'd like just hugs until I figure out what to do, okay?"

"Okay." Shadow hugged me and said, "You did great, by the way! And I just want to know that I feel the exact same way. I love you Sonic the Hedgehog! I just don't know if you're ready to love me back. Even if you don't, I'll still care for you." Shadow proclaimed, his arms wrapped around me like a comforting blanket.

"Thank you Shadow. I love you too, I just need to find where my heart lies." I replied with a mini speech of my own. "You're time's almost up, can we have one more kiss?"

"Absolutely, my little blue emerald!" Shadow leaned in, and our lips connected, but only for a second. "See you later?"

"See you later, Shads." And he left, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
