Pent up feelings
Swirling inside of me
Spilling out
Not to be contained
As I splash my emotions
Across the canvas that is my life
With a splash of fiery orange-red
A soft
Creamy yellow
A hint of poisonous green
Silver and gold sparkle here and there beneath the many layers
Slyly peaking out
From behind powder blue and a deep
Velvety indigo
Shy as the night's first stars
Fresh debutante's if you will.
