"why are we in the janitor's closet?" will asked.

"because i need to talk to you." mike replied.

"so we're not here to...um..."

"oh, you thought—. um, well we could, but um...i was thinking we could talk first."

will cleared his throat.

"yeah, yeah, totally, that's...that's fine. what's up?"

"it's about max." mike revealed.

"what about max?" will asked.

mike explained to will what both jade and max had told him about last night.

"wow. and jane doesn't know?" will asked.

"she has no idea, but i think we should tell her." mike said.

"are you sure that's a good idea?" will bit his fingernail.

"well, she has to find out at one point! which is why..."

there was a knock on the door and mike opened it to see jane.

"hi mike, what—. wait, why's will here, this isn't about the—."

"hey, jane come in!" mike grabbed her arm and pulled her in then closed the door.

"wait, what were you saying jans?" will turned to her.

mike shook his head.

"nothing. nothing at all. so, what's going on guys?" jane asked.

"something happened with max and sam." mike answered.

"what do you mean something happened with max and sam? did they get hurt? i-i don't understand." jane said.

"apparently, after i dropped max off at her house, she was walking and got picked up by sam and they...uh...made out in jade's house, then fought with her..." will explained.

jane looked at both boys, then left the janitor's closet.

"uh oh."

"where is she going."

will grabbed mike's hand and dragged him after jane.

"jane! jane!"

jane ignored them and went into the cafeteria. she saw max sitting with dustin at their usual table.

"max." jane folded her arms.

"um, hi?" max furrowed her eyebrows.

"you're coming with me. now."
