To get ready for an earthquake
We were given a guide for our sake
This is to prepare ourselves for the disaster
So when it comes, we can think faster.

We were given this task to let the people be aware
Of the destructions and dangers, we must beware
We can't let this thing end our lives
Until the end we must all survive.

We interviewed some staff and faculty
Including some students passing by randomly
Explaining the earthquake preparedness guide
In which everyone is encouraged to abide.

First, there will be a 50-second alarm
Signaling that everyone must perform
The duck, cover and hold as told
Then wait till everything is under control.

Students are expected to evacuate to their area
Keeping calm even in a state of hysteria
Once in the area, students must do a headcount
To see if anyone is missing or it's just a miscount

This is only just an earthquake drill
While being evaluated, let us wait in thrill
To see whether we did well or not
No matter the results, we still learned a lot

A/N: So obviously this is for a school work hahah. But I'd still like to share it with you guys since it's also a creative reminder of what you should do during an earthquake. (simbako palayo😟)
