26 | A Dog's Company

A dog's company is all I want in reality
I'm so sick of this world's inhumanity
Only want to see those pure innocent eyes
No judgemental looks and mouthful of lies

Only want to hear those excited barks
Whenever it notices my vehicle park
Only want to see fast wagging tails
It makes me feel happy, it never fails

It only listens when I let my heart out
It comes closer when I'm about to fade out
It comforts me when I feel despondent
It stayed with me like it was my constant

It brought me the sun amidst this famine
The hunger for love you can't imagine
When everyone else from my life has left
It never did until its last breath

I only wish for them to live longer
'Cause seeing them leave makes me falter
The world's riches won't even suffice
For their love can never name a price

I only wish for them to live longer 'Cause seeing them leave makes me falterThe world's riches won't even sufficeFor their love can never name a price
