Chapter 19 - Testing The Patience of "Cang'he" (What Love Can Do To Someone?)

After lunch Donghua walks Fengjiu to the lotus pond and leaves her there to play with Muyun while he secretly heads to the historical archives. He doesn't want her to know since she will worry too much and affect her health. Before leaving he has placed barriers surrounding the area so no intruders can come into TaiChen Palace to hurt his baby fox. He really doesn't want to leave her alone but he has to, in order to get to the bottom of the forbidden and extinct magic. To his knowledge, this magic once came from a tribe way before he became the unifier of all realms. This tribe was the 'Sujin' tribe which is the evil ex side consort of Yehua, Consort Sujin or ex Tianfei of Haode.

Sujin was no longer in Nine Heaven due to all her stupidity acts of trying to make Yehua love her. But to be honest, love really can make someone change and do stupid things. Overly obsessive and desire could also go down the path of no return and this is where Sujin went. A path that got her disowned by everyone in Nine Heaven. Now she is to be reborn over and over again in the mortal realm to suffer and never to be able to become an immortal ever again. This could be considered a light punishment already. If she was to be punished to be reborn as animals each life, it would be far worse then now.

Love is magical and could be a dangerous thing if not handled properly. In all of history, what has love done to someone? Yehua sacrifices his cultivation to make the pills so BaiQian can be safe and still be able to save her master MoYuan. Then he sacrifices his life to destroy the Dong Huang Bell to keep BaiQian safe. Donghua descended to the mortal realm to give Fengjiu her wish to be in love and married to him. Which cost Donghua ninety percent of his cultivation and took him a few years to regain it back. Fengjiu cut off her tail in order to write Donghua's name back on the Rock of Three Incarnations. She protected Donghua multiple times during the battle at the Ruoshi river. Then she tries to find a way for them to be together and that almost brought an end to all realms, which that is only the knowledge to her side of the story.

The Sujin tribe was wiped out during the war against Qingcang at the Ruoshi river along with MoYuan's death seventy thousand years ago. This magic was also banned and forbidden to use when Donghua became the unifier of all realms. This magic was also written in an ancient text in which only certain higher royals of the tribe would be able to translate or read. This ancient text was lost after time and the only person that would be able to translate or read it would be Donghua himself. Even if Sujin was still in Nine Heaven she was too young to even know about this forbidden magic or be able to understand the lost language.

Donghua walks into the deep archive all the way to the back, where normally no one would dare to go. It's dark and creepy to most lower immortals even some high immortals will still stay away from here if it is possible. Let just say this is another place that makes everyone afraid of, like the Zhuxian Terrance. There were lots of ancient scrolls that were very valuable which Donghua himself had placed them under a powerful protection barrier. Not too many can go pass this barrier, even going near it will damage some of their fairy essences. There were rumours that there is a mythical creature guarding the area. It will only let a few certain ones pass and devour the rests that try to trespass.

He walks to the final shelf in the room and pulls out a scroll that was written in an unknown script. This scroll contains all the information regarding the lost language of the 'Sujin' tribe and the forbidden magic that he had banned. The scroll was fully covered by dust, which clearly indicates that no one had ever touched this. Even If anyone was to try reading it won't make sense to them. He looks at the end of the scroll for the answer to break the magic and for an anti-counter-attack. The scroll has listed many different magic and paths to break the casted spell.

There is one spell where someone can cast in order to enter the same dream and to attack the original caster. There is one where it just completely blocks the caster from entering the victim's dream. There is also one where it will counter-attack and greatly injure the caster that tries to enter the victims' dream. The list goes on and on but Donghua already likes the first three on the list. He continues reading the history of this magic and why was it created in the first place.
