"Xiaobai, rest for now, when you wake up we will be home."

When Fengjiu finally stirs from her deep sleep and slowly sits up on the bed, she then realizes that she is no longer in TaiChen Palace. She rubs her eyes a few times to make things look clearer to her. Donghua wasn't sleeping right beside her like he always did, or sitting somewhere in this room reading some Buddhist scroll either. She was all alone in an unfamiliar place and she started to panic, afraid something might have happened when she fell asleep. "DONGHUA! DONGHUA! DONGHUA!" she screams out while looking around the room. But he didn't show up or answer her cries. She knows this is not like Donghua at all to leave her all alone in an unfamiliar place. All she could think of now is to start ringing her bells vigorously like there is no tomorrow. Jingling jingling jingling jingling jingling... The crisp jingling sounds of the bronze bells hitting each other, echoing throughout the whole chamber, bouncing off of the stone wall. The sound becomes louder and louder with the sound vibrating bouncing back and forth.

Just in the matters of seconds, Donghua quickly appears out of the mist, tightly embracing her in his arms sitting on the bed. "What is it Xiaobai?" he worryingly asks. "Where did you go? You left me all alone in this place that is unfamiliar to me and I am scared!" she cries out loud in his embrace with tears falling down her cheeks, soaking Donghua's robes. "I'm sorry Xiaobai, I didn't anticipate that you would wake up this fast! I went to collect some herbs and plants for your medicine." he softly says while rubbing her back. "I... thought... something had... happened to you! I am so scared, because of us being together... something will happen to you." she continues crying out. "My silly baby fox, nothing will happen to us, I promise. We are in my home, Bihai Cangling. No one can come here without my permission, so no one can hurt you here." he says while reassuring her while rubbing her back, trying to calm her down.

"Are we really in your home, Bihai Cangling?" she asks in a very serious tone of voice while pulling away from his embrace to look into his eyes. "Of course, didn't I promise you I will take you here when your health gets better. Indeed your heart injury is almost fully healed but your health is still very weak, especially after the events we had in Nine Heaven. So it's best for you to stay here to rest and recover. There is lots of good and powerful energy here that can help nurse you back to your good health." he sweetly says while he pulls her back into his embrace, hugging her tightly as possible. He leans in closer to her ear and whispers into it. "If you don't get your good health back, how are we going to have some little cubs running around soon?" he teasingly asks with a smirk on his face. Upon hearing his words Fengjiu started to blush so red like a beet. "Stop... teasing me...like this..." she says while lightly hitting him on the chest. "But I love seeing how my beautiful wife blush like this..." he whispers while lifting her chin up and placing a kiss on her soft plump lips.

Fengjiu melts into his embrace, even more, his kisses and touches are her weakness. Donghua himself is her weakness. She was too carried away from his passionate kiss, it is like she travelled back in time, back to living as Consort Chen in the mortal palace. "Xiaobai... Xiaobai... Xiaobai..." Donghua calls out to her, bringing her back to the present time. Fengjiu looks at his face and can tell that he knows what she is thinking of. Since the time that Donghua decided to be with Fengjiu, he was too consumed in this new feeling that he totally forgot that he has the ability to read people's minds. When Fengjiu was lost in time on her own, he finally remembered that he could read her mind to see what she was thinking of. When he did, he knew it was not the right time to continue teasing her like this, her health is the most important thing at this moment.

"Can we go outside? I really want to go see the whole place!" she happily asks with a mischief look, as she quickly changes the topic to avoid the awkwardness. "NO! You need to rest for a few more days. Your knees got worse when you just walked a little bit yesterday. I shouldn't have let you persuade me to let you walk on your own." he sternly says with anger, burning in his eyes. Fengjiu didn't say anything at all. To her, the way he said that, sounded very mean. Her eyes started to get watery, her mouth formed a pout and her hands started to twist the strands of his hairs with the fabric of her robe. Donghua didn't realize the way he said it would have hurt her feelings until he read her mind. "Why all of a sudden he is being so mean to me? Is it because I spaced out during our kiss?" His heart started to hurt a lot seeing those watery puppy eyes and pouty lips.
