Chapter 4

MASON'S POV

I was on my way to meet Kennedy, the girl I'm trying to get when I noticed everyone looking in a particular direction

I saw a figure of a girl and boy. Two very familiar people. I went closer to get a better view and noticed it was Simone and him. Oh! So they've met. Just great

I went forward a little to hear their conversation because it was looking pretty serious

"You! What are you doing here?" she asked with a gruff voice. "Well if it isn't Simone" he smirked "or should I say Si-moan" he whispered in her ear making her face tint a crimson red. How does- How does that even make sense??

She glared at him probably trying to make daggers come out of her eyes. Poor girl. "What are you doing here" She asked again.

He rolled his eyes "Do I really need to tell you? You saw me casually talking to a friend and you still ask"

"You school here don't you?" She asked. "of course I do" he said back in a 'duh' tone

"Why did you come here? You knew I was going to be here", Simone retorted. Okay..maybe they've known each other before now but I never introduced them to each other. Why would I want to do that?

"You don't know anything Simone. You think you can run away from me but you can't. You're going to be mine"

Wait- what?! I think I just choked on my spit. What is he saying now? Pfft. That's never going to happen. Something about that thought didn't sit right. It's Probably because I don't like him

"I'm never going to be yours. I hate you" she glared. He then held her arms against the lockers forcefully making her whelp in pain. "I said you're going to be mine and there's nothing you can do about it"

Please maintain a quality facial distance. Thank you

"We'll see about that" she said struggling out of his grip as she glared at him. I rolled my eyes knowing this is the part I had to do something since everyone one else is too busy staring so I walked over to him

"Dude look at yourself. See how you're treating a girl. End it here. Now!" I said, my voice demanding

"Mason please stay out of this" he urged

"Jason end it here If not things are going to get ugly"

Okay now I'm irritated by all the stares and what more pleasure would it be than to shout at them?

"Stop staring!" I yelled through the halls and everyone immediately turned to mind their business obviously still listening to our exchange but I didn't care as long as they aren't staring 'cause that's just creepy

"Something's already ugly and it's standing in front of me" Jason replied smirking

Ok that's it. Just one punch in the middle of his face was enough to subside my anger. I watched as blood trickled down his nose. Look who's the ugly one now. I'm not ugly, I know that

Maybe he can fight but not against me. I don't know what he was thinking daring me. Okay fine. Maybe he's going to be able to fight better than me in about-Let's see.. maybe NEVER years from now. Hehe, worth it

I immediately turned to Simone as Jason's friend led him out, probably to the clinic.

"Are you alright?" I asked her, sincerity-which isn't meant to be there- lacing my voice as she ran to hug me-No don't, ugh- and buried her head in the crook of my neck. "Thank you" she mumbled in my neck.
