Harvey's pov
It's the last day before winter break I walk into my last class of the day and as per usual Derek was late yet again to say I didnt have a crush on him would be a lie but yet again everyone has a crush on him
"Harvey Wolf-Strong please come to the office ASAP" the loud speaker said I pack my things and went to the office and I see the police there I walk up to them and they take there hats off and hold them to there chest
"Harvey we are terribly sorry but your parents passed away this afternoon" they said to me and I collapsed to the floor crying my mum and dad have been in a coma for 11 years I hate seeing them there but every day there was a glimpse of hope that they would wake up. I cry Loudly while holding my hands over my mouth "we are truly sorry your guardian is on his way to pick you up" the police officer says to me then walks away I stand up and go to my best friends classroom Robby I walk in and the hole class look at me and Robby stands up
"T-they died" I say and cry he runs up to me and hugs me tightly
"Harv I am so sorry it's going to be ok" robby says I pull away from the hug
"I h-have to g-go john is c-coming to get me" I say and walk back to the office I was greeted by john
"Sorry Harvey" he says
"I knew it was going to happen but its s-still hurts" I say and he hugs me we walk to his car "I want to go to the base" I say
"Are you sure" he says
"Yes I want to let off some steam" I say and he nods he drives me to the militery base
