She heard whispers, incoherent mumbled ones as she tried to loose the web around her brain, everything was fuzzy and she had a killer headache. She gathered enough strength to open her eyes, it was bright and hazy, she tried to clear it and get use to it. The ceiling is pure white with a tiny fan in the middle
She turned and the first person she saw was Na'im looking down, his hair messy. She tried to move her fingers to alert him and he immediately looked up, his eyes were red and wide, the hazel lost their spark
"Ruha" he whispered it like a prayer, like a blessing and she remembered, remembered everything that happened and how she got there. He heard it all happen "you are awake, oh God you are awake" he hurriedly walked out and came back with a doctor who did a thorough checkup on her and filled in the gaps
After he left, her family fawned over her through out treating her like an egg. She was finally happy when they left her with Jamaal to go freshen up and get stuff
"Jamie, what's with Na'im?" She asked confused at the cold shoulder she was receiving
Jamaal shrugged "I was hoping you could tell me, Na'im has been that way since he brought you to the hospital a few days ago and he hardly left your side except to pray, he hasn't slept, he's been worried sick. Ruha how did Na'im find you soo fast?"
Ruha shrugged "I didn't tell him my location, maybe he tracked me after the crash, we were on a call, well not call per say, none of us were talking just like it was connected"
"You mean Na'im heard the crash?" Jamaal asked and she nodded "I now understand why he's been that way, he literally witnessed everything, that scars a man"
Ruha nodded. She had to fix it

She had soo many signatures on her cast she didn't know who was who anymore. Na'im and her were the only ones on the mountain, its night and the insomnia patients were back to their hide out
"Na'im" he looked at her, he looked better now, no more red eyes or anything but he was still tensed "wanna talk?"
He shook his head then nodded then shook it again. It was soo hilarious, she had to laugh "are you okay?" he shook his head "are you ever going to talk to me about it?"
He nodded "anytime I look at you, beside you or anything, I just see your bloddy body staring back at me sorta like its mocking me. I heard you scream Ruha, I freaked out, I shut down, do you know how it was seeing you in that state, looking dead... It broke me Ruha, it destroyed me, everything literally flashed in front of me, I was about to loose you before I had you with me... I was about to loose someone who gave soo much to cherish... I was about to loose the love of my life damn it"
It was silent... Everything came to a standstill.... He didn't think he'll tell her that way and she didn't think he felt that way towards her
And thus came a pause in their slow water travel
