"Laughter lights up your eyes!" ~Aiyla

Ayesha looked at them all, the family was made up of beautiful people from the guys to the girls, picture did nothing to show their real beauty especially Ruha. That girl is stunning yet empty

"Ayesha, what are you thinking about?" She was snapped out of it by Kamal., the love of her life

She shook her head "its nothing babe, I'm just remembering, the gang is made up of stunning people especially Ruha, I get Na'im since he isn't even fully Nigerian, just quarter but Ruha ya Allah, she makes girls wonder where they come from"

"You are gorgeous babe and yeah, I know that, how did you like them? Character and personality wise?" He entwined their fingers smiling

"They are amazing, I'm kinda mad at you for not introducing me to them sooner, do you think I can meet them again?"

Kamal nodded "Nurayn is bringing gayswa to the fam on friday, everyone is gonna be there so yeah, you can, you can come over, the girls will be in Naims house along with us"

"Gaysuwa, that's fast" Ayesha exclaimed

Kamal shrugged "its just for the formalities, so she can be classified as engaged and their meetings will be more safe, the wedding I doubt will be before she's done serving, maybe in a year or so"

Ayesha became quiet all of a sudden, looking ahead lost in it "Ayesha, whats up?"

"Are you ever going to meet my parents?" She asked, her face serious "are we serious?"

"Of course Ayesha, I was going to ask you when I should come with my parents, the ball is in your court"

"Definitely, come at the end of the month, the last Friday of it" she said looking at him "and that wedding date better be as close as possible"

Kamal laughed "Yes Ma'am"

"I have to go in now, I've got a court hearing tomorrow, night baby"

"Night sweetheart"

"Are you sure I'm not over dressed?" Farha asked once again twirling in front of her floor length mirror in her room, Ruha was behind her lying on Farhas bed using her phone and laughing. Definitely Na'im while Adda was eating

"I'm serious Farha, you are fine, you look responsible and like an adult"

"Do you think I'm ready?"

Adda smiled "its not like you are getting married today, you have a long time to go"

"That doesn't make me feel better"

"Why are you soo panicky sweetie, you love him, he loves you, its just formalities right now, its gonna be fine in sha Allah" Adda soothed "Ruha, are you gonna stay or not?"

Ruha looked up and shook her head "Amma said I should go over to Naims with the kids, only Hamma Kamal and you are staying"

"Okay, well get going, the family will soon be here"

Ruha nodded and stood up, she slipped on her lilac veil and shoe, hugged Farha whispering goodluck before walking away

The house looked spotless as it usually is but now there's more life to it than only Ruha, Farha, Jamie and Kamal living in it

She greeted the elders and grabbed hold of Fawwaz and Manal before going over to Naims house. She opened the doors and let herself in just to crash into a solid wall making her stumble back, if not for the arm that went around her waist she would have been on the floor

She whispered a thanks and looked up, immediately absorbed in the beautiful hazel hole that is her centre of gravity and magnet... Na'im. Her King. Her Sultan

"Are you okay?" He asked in his husky accent that did funny things to her body and brain cells. Hormones are deadly chemical substances in this kind of situations

She nodded and moved back getting out of his grip before they do something they'll both regret. It was then she noticed Manal and Fawwaz have wandered off

"Are you the only one coming over?" She shook her head "Jamie and Yusuf too?" She nodded then added "Ayesha"

"Go in then, Muna is in her room upstairs with Hanan, Hamraa and Afra, you know the way. Mum and dad are in their room though so you can meet them later" she nodded and watched him as he slipped his phone out of his pocket "I have to go, I have an impronto meeting with the investors, wish me luck and please do have fun"

She nodded "good luck and sure don't worry"

He took his leave while she went upstairs straight to Munas room. The color code is pink and white with hints of yellow. The girls were seated on the bed talking and using their phones when she entered, Hamraas head on Afras lap while Afra was resting her head against Munas headboard while Muna, Hanan, Fawwaz and Manal were talking

"Hey guys, Fawwaz, Jamie and Yusuf are downstairs playing with the Xbox, they asked if you wanna play with them" he didn't answer instead he raced out

"Hey Ruha" the girls greeted, she nodded and smiled. She joined them on the bed typing away on her phone when a message popped in

I'm at Naims n I don't know d way in, can u pls come n show me, I'm outside ~ Ayesha

Ruha sighed and went downstairs, true to her words Ayesha was outside dressed splendidly in a grey straight skirt and blouse atampa with beautiful designs

She hugged Ruha immediately making her go stiff under the loving touch and released her "I'm soo happy to see you, this house is mad"

Ruha nodded "yeah, please come in" she led her into the beautiful house and went upstairs to Munas room

Ayesha hugged the girls talking excitedly while Ruha watched. Even after all this years she still feels like she doesn't belong, she still feels sad and depressed. PTSD is not a good thing. She stood up and walked towards Munas window looking out from where she was, the view wasn't perfect but it was okay. She wondered how it will look from Na'im's room

Her phone rang interrupting her from her head and she slid it out checking... Na'im. She answered the call

"As Salaamu alaykum" she whispered looking out, lost

"Waalaykumu salaam hayaati" he was silent for a moment, she heard whispers "I want you to come out of there Ruha"

She furrowed her eyebrows confused "where?"

"You are in your unhappy place Ruha, I know you, the tone of your voice is different, what happened?"

"Can you ever heal a broken heart Na'im?" He was silent on the other side, all she heard was breathing "will I ever feel like I belong? Will I ever feel normal?"

"You do belong hayaati, you always belonged, you are right where you are meant to be, you are with friends, family and people who love you... You are home, you do belong home hayaati and no one is normal" his voice held a ting of sadness in it, hidden meaning, something Ruha uptill now hasn't been able to unravel, Na'im had secrets "but you are perfect baby, perfect in the sense that you are you and you have embraced your past, that you are moving on"

"Don't hang up, never hang up Na'im, I always want to know you are there, you don't need to talk but please I need you right now, later until our forever"

"You don't need need to say it hayaati, I'm right here and soon it will be forever in sha Allah"
