To His Special One

My smile
Was his sore eyes, cream
For which he could barefoot, run a mile

Always trying to make small
Conversations, not trying to give in too much
But I know

He has got tons of pretty girls as his friends
But still his eyes always looking up for me
In the crowd was such a cute sight to witness, never wanting it to end

My presence made his heart skip a beat
I could hear it even from a distance
How lovely his heart beats

Never did I ever feel less important
But yes he used to ignore me
Around his buddies to not let me know

It was annoying so much
Why does he have to pretend everytime
When his secret is already out and known

A few years passed by
I left the town
He just said good bye

You still won't confess?
I wanted to ask
But let the thought rest

Tried to stay in touch
Even when we had different zip codes
Nothing to talk about much

Finally when he completed graduation
Earned enough to be independent
And called for celebration

With hesitation I replied, why should I be there
No reason as such
He said blushing, but I was actually asking out here

Trust me there wasn't a single girl who didn't like him no none
Still I got the rose, written on it was
To his special one
