Chan could tell Felix had been avoiding him, the trip back was horrifically quiet compared to the younger's usual demeanor.

It really hurt knowing that Felix didn't like him back.

This wasn't what he wanted. He didn't want to damage his friendship with the other, and yet there he was, same spot as before- no progress made, laptop on his lap, Felix by his side.

Every few minutes he would subtly inch closer, just trying to feel some kind of warmth.

Living that kind of life is awful. Constantly telling yourself that people care about you, then having no one there to comfort you when you can't lie to yourself like that.

Dozens of people surrounded him, but he couldn't stop thinking that there wasn't anyone who was invested in his mental health.

He certainly wasn't depressed, but he still had days where he could just use some caring, sensible words.

Even through all of that, he'd give away every positive thought he'd ever had, and will have to make Felix (or really any of the members) happy.

It was too late. He was gone. Every thing up to that point had been for nothing. He didn't even say goodbye.
