Blake's head was bandaged by my sister, Lucy who was and we soon set off for Winterbrook.
We reached there and was quite puzzled to see nobody there. We trudged up the stairs and some little indistinct noises and voices could be heard from the room of Mrs Russel.
Blake silently drew himself at the door and tried to eavesdrop.
"You can't..."
"Yes, I will..."
"But... will be exposed!"
"Please!... for god's sake!"
It sounded much the voice of Mrs Russel and Mr Gerome. "But what were they talking about!?" that was the question that went on around our mind.
Suddenly, the handle turned, and the door flung open. Mrs Russel and Mr Gerome appeared.
"Oh! You arrived!" Mrs Russel said, repugnantly.
"Yes, I need an arrangement to united everyone in the kitchen table."
"It's for what?" asked Mr Gerome in the background.
"About a simple meeting amongst ourselves," Blake replied.
