"Go to sleep, Stanley. My intentions are good, I promise."

"SHUT YOUR YAPS BILL!" Stanley Pines slammed his head on his desk. The voice in his head continued.

"Look, Stan. I've tried to reason with you. I've been trapped in your head for ten years now. I've changed. I know you don't believe me, but you have to slip up sometime, and when you do I'll prove myself."

"Why would I believe someone who tried to murder me and my family? Who tried to destroy the universe?!" 

The voice was quiet, but just for a moment.

"I don't expect you to believe me. But I will show you. You can't stay awake forever, and you can't padlock yourself up every time you do. I've done a lot of self reflection in here. You'll see, Stanley. You'll see."
