I stared and the razorwing laying on the ground and thought that maybe I should wake her up so I shook her shoulder hoping that would wake her up but it did something worse...
Carla's POV
I felt someone shaking me and then I woke up and immediately shot a spike right in front of me without thinking or aiming apparently.
Cutter: hey watch it! You almost hit me with a spike.
Carla: I'm am Carla who are you and where am I
Leyla: we are the rescue riders and you're at the roost
Dak: Leyla do you have any idea how many times we say that to people we meet, just wanna point that out.
Carla: I gotta be imagining this, did you just answer me!
Leyla: when we were really little our parents were shipwrecked and a mother dragon rescued us. Our mother taught us how to talk to dragons, ride dragons, and distract dragons long enough for Winger to do this!
*Winger slaps Leyla really hard*
