Sugar has become popular these days
Just like salt it has its ways
Salt helps people stay alive
Sugar helps the candy world thrive
People think sugar gets all the credit
But that should be edited
Not a lot of people think of where it came
They just eat it just the same
There are many spinoffs
But they just scoff
They think they are not popular enough
But sugar, Sugar is more tough
They are fructose syrup
That is on the ingredient list in a doozy all stirred up
Fructose syrup earned the title
Of unhealthy and dangerous by some, Vital
