Books and Coffee and comfy clothes
Listening to music, the pillow held close
Writing a poem or an appealing prose
is all the comfort that an introvert knows.
Restraining yourself from talking to anyone.
Sitting in a corner letting your mind awaken.
For anyone else, you may seem forlorn
But for an introvert, peace is when left alone.
For others, any social gathering may sound fun
But for an introvert, SHEER AVERSION!
Parties and Birthdays, any activity in the sun.
with an introvert it could never be juxtapositioned.
Cancelled plans could never get an introvert upset.
'Nerd' remains no longer an epithet.
As good as it seems, in trouble you may get
with your own little mauerbauertraurigkeit
Being left on my own is all that I hope
But that doesn't make me an misanthrope!
Too many unknowns may make me run
But with some handful knowns, it's worth an evocation.
