Chapter 25

Friday's game

Rachel's POV

Today is the first football game of the season and it's been a crazy week here at school. I haven't talked to Finn since he came over to my house on Monday it really breaks my heart and it's a lot harder since I have him for almost every class we sometimes make eye connect but I look away really fast and as for my new class I like it so far Chris is in it so I'm glad I know somebody.

I woke up and got ready for school I took a shower and brushed my teeth I wrapped my hair in a towel and picked out what I was going to wear today. I decided I was going to wear my black skater skirt with my light pink crop top I went to my closet to get my black jacket when I see Finns jersey just seeing it reminded me of last years game I got my jacket and threw it on and put on my black high knee socks with a pair of black ankle boots. I took off the towel and let my hair be natural today and with makeup just some mascara and nude pink lipstick.

I went downstairs and got an apple. I left the house I got in my car and drove to school as I was driving I couldn't stop thinking about Finn and what happened on Monday but what's done is done I just need to focus on myself. I pulled up to the school parking lot and I parked my car and made my way inside the school. I walked to my locker and as I'm walking I pass by Finn I just kept my head down and kept walking.

I finally got my locker and I put some books away.

"Hey there" I heard someone say I look up and I see Chris.

"Hi Chris" I said as I take out a book

"How are you?" He asked me

"The same as always sad I just miss him" I said closing my locker

"I could tell he wouldn't stop looking at you when you walked pass him" he said

"It's just hard but it's for the best I need to find myself again" I said

"I know" he said with a small smile

"So are you ready for today's big game?" I asked changing the subject

"Yeah I am are you going to the game?" He asked me

"No I'm not seeing him would just hurt me more" I said looking down

"Hey it's okay maybe next time" he said

"Yeah maybe anyways I gotta get to class I'll see you in cooking" I said with a small smile

"See you in cooking and be strong" he said and left to class

As I was walking to class Kurt bumped into me.

"So are we still on for the plan?" He asked as we walked

"Yeah we are but remember we live after the game is over" I said to him

"I know I know don't worry" he said with a small smirk

"Okay so my house after school then" I said to him

"Yeah I have everything in my locker so don't worry" he said

"Okay I'll see you later" I told him and walked inside the classroom

I sat in the back with the girls as always Santana and Brit in their Cheerios uniform and Quinn was wearing Puck jersey number like the one I wore last year of Finn with some black jeans. she hasn't gone back to the Cheerios yet cause Sue is still mad at her for getting pregnant but Quinn wants to go back.

"Hey Berry" Santana said with a smile

"Hey girls" I said

"So Rach are you going to the game today?" Quinn asked
