One month later.
Rachel's POV
It's been two months since my dads passed away and I still can't get over it. I'm trying my best to let it go but it's really hard I just miss them. I haven't talked to Finn since the time we bumped into each other in class he sometimes does stare but looks away. Cooking class is going great I really like it. I have gotten really close to Chris he's like my best friend. I sometimes miss glee club but I'm still focusing on myself. The girls were telling me that sectionals is just in a couple of days so I'm going to go see them perform its going to kill me but I'm going to support my friends.
Today Santana is having a birthday party so I'm going to go and have a good time I miss going out to parties and just having a good time. I got up from my bed went to the shower brushed my teeth and threw on some sweats and a tank top I packed a bag with some clothes and my makeup and my heels and headed downstairs.
I went downstairs and I saw Shelby feeding Beth.
"Good morning Rachel" she said with a smile
"Good morning Shelby" I said with a smile
"Are you hungry?" She asked
"No thank you Shelby. I was wondering if I could go to Santana party tonight and if I could sleepover also?" I asked her
"Of course you could Rachel go and have a good time" she said with a smile
"Thank you Shelby" I said and hugged her
"Any time " she said as she hugged back
"I'll see you tomorrow bye Shelby" I said and left the house.
I got in my car and drove off to the house party Santana rented for her party. See her parents think we'll be having her party at Brits house when really it's a rented house but after the party we're going to Brittany house to sleepover.
I arrived to the house and parked my car I saw that Quinn was already here too. I got out of my car got my stuff and walked up to the door and rang the door bell. Quinn opened the door right away.
"Rachel" she said and hugged me
"Hey" I said and hugged her back
"Come on we've been waiting for you" she said as she pulled me inside the house
We walked inside and I must say this house is pretty big and nice now I know why Santana got this house for her birthday.
"Hey Rach" Santana said as she hugged me
"Happy Birthday Santana" I said and hugged her back
"Thanks what took you so long to come?" She asked
"I was talking to Shelby sorry" I told her
"Its fine but since you're here now we could start fixing this place up" She said excited
"So what's the plan?" Quinn asked as we sat down at the couch
"Okay so outside we gotta set up some tables for the drinks and games and of course Rachel and I famous shots" she said with a smirk
"What about inside?" I asked
"We need to just get the chips,soda, and the drinks but Puck has the drinks covered so Quinn and Rachel can you go to the store and buy the rest of the stuff please" Santana said
"Yeah sure not a problem" Quinn said
"This is going to be the best birthday party ever" Santana said with a huge smile on her face.
