"Ryder... RYDER!" Carson yells shaking the girl awake, she was asleep until she heard her friend screaming from across the hall, she watches as Ryder jumps up breathing heavily, Carson just sits on the bed pulling her friend in for a hug
"You're okay, she's gone remember?" Carson tells her
"It wasn't Montana... it was lily.." Ryder mumbles, the door opens and Skylar walks in, she slowly walks over to the bed and sits down, this is a normal thing someone wakes up from a nightmare and those who wake up go and sit with them
"I think its time you and Owyn start therapy" Skylar says rubbing her friends back who gives her a look
"I don't need it" Ryder huffs shaking her head
"Oh but you do, we all got help and still are" Carson tells her, she gets off the bed and goes over turning the TV on and puts on Pirates of the Caribbean before climbing back on the bed
"I'll go get snacks" Skylar says leaving the room and running down to the kitchen, she grabs salmon obviously, and some other random things she knows everyone likes and then she grabs a few drinks and sprints upstairs her arms full she enters the room and the other girls laugh as Carson goes over and grabs some of the food and snacks before they sit on the bed enjoying each other's presence as they watch movies. Times like these are always wanted the peace of not worrying for your life or panicking is something rare and treasured with the girls, the cops have been searching for Lily and have not found her, they just gave up the search they told the girls she's either skipped town or she's dead, but the girls know better, she was alive but where she was no one knows. It didn't take long before the girls passed out on the bed, cuddled into each other the tv playing in the background the only noise being the movie and the light rain outside, the window was cracked slightly letting a gentle breeze come in, blowing through the dark purple curtains.
*Time skip till morning because I am bored and yeah there really is no reason*
"Morning" Carson mumbles as Skylar tries to sneak off the bed undetected, she was going to make breakfast before she left for work but apparently, she wasn't very quiet getting off the bed or she often forgets Carson is a light sleeper, but lets move on from that.
"Sorry didn't mean to wake you" Skylar whispers as Ryder is still passed out, her head on Carson's stomach
"Its fine Sky, I may just pass out again what time is it?" Carson mumbles tiredly as she lays her head back on the pillow, her eyes slowly closing
"Its 9:30... Oh fuck I am late for work!!" Skylar shouts effectively waking the other two from there sleep
"Ughhhh I had a meeting today at 10" Carson groans crawling out of bed, she moves Ryders wheelchair near the bed
"I have Physical therapy... yay" Ryder mumbles tiredly, the girls quickly rush to get ready for work when Rose walks in
"Oh morning sleepyheads, sky you are not late I called in for you... your boss understands and said you have to be in by noon, uh Car your meeting is at 11 and Ryder yours is at 11 as well.. your welcome" Rose says and the girls all sigh in relief
"Oh my god thank you so much Rose" Carson tells her
"Of course, I walked by to get some breakfast before work and noticed you guys passed out, so I grabbed your phones and called people" She says shrugging her shoulders before making her way to the kitchen for a bowl of cereal
"I am going to make breakfast, Ry you want help, or you got it?" Ryder just waves them off and the girls nod before leaving the room and heading out of the room and into the kitchen, Carson, Skylar and Ryder have downstairs bedrooms and the other three took the upstairs, mainly the older three took the giant rooms. Skylar and Carson get to work on breakfast as Rose sits on the counter eating her bowl of cereal
"Alrighty guys I gotta skedaddle got work to do" Rose says to the ones in the kitchen as she hops off the counter tossing her bowl into the sink, earning a small glare from Skylar
"Oops" Rose says walking away grabbing her jacket and leaving the house for work
"Are we sure Raine will be fine with Owyn and Ryder alone?" Carson whispers to Skylar who sighs and shrugs
"We gotta hope, I mean I know my boss is nice and will probs let me leave if something happens again but we gotta trust them to stay home by themselves" Skylar tells her, Carson gives her a look, she rather they all just stay together, to much can happen when they split up for the day
"Carson" Skylar whispers pulling her in for a hug, Carson just sighs and hugs her back
"I should be past this" she mumbled into Skylar's shoulder
"There is no rush, we have been through a lot... its okay"
"Did I miss something?" Ryder question wheeling her way into the kitchen, Carson wipes her tears and shakes her head, Ryder gives her the "talk later look" and wheels her way into the living room, luckily there house was big enough to have tons of space so she could move around rather easily
"Coffee is done, breakfast is almost done... I will get the two youngest if there not already awake" Skylar says leaving the kitchen and going upstairs, she walks down the hall coming to Raine's room first she gently knocks on the door and waits within a few seconds the door opens and Raine is dressed and ready to go
"Hey, breakfast is done" Skylar tells her the younger girl nods and makes her way downstairs, her book tucked under her arm before Skylar can continue Owyn is already making her way quickly down the hall
"Morning Sky" she says with a relief of finally finding one of her friends
"Morning Owyn, come on breakfast is done" The two girls make there way downstairs and to the kitchen where everyone eats, its rather silent most dreading the day of being apart from each other
"Oh right Ry I can bring you to physical therapy" Skylar tells her, she just nods and continues to eat, the girls have been through so much, Rose is always on high alert for anything linked to lily. Carson, Skylar and Ryder are ready to protect there friends again if need be even while panicking, and the youngest are so lost in their own minds they don't realize the damage its causing to them. Each girl is lost but can they be found? And before lily makes her grand return.
