Carlos and I walk hand-in-hand through Auradon Prep Gardens, Dude running ahead of us.

I apologized to Mal and Ben last night for the damage and panic that I caused yesterday.

Fairy Godmother, using her wand, repaired the damage as to not disturb any students.

While Dude stops to pee, Carlos turns to me, looking a little nervous. He takes both of my hands in his.

"Will you accompany me on a date tonight?"

He asks and I nod slowly, trying not to show him how excited I am. He smiles happily.

"Great! I'm gonna go to sort some stuff out. I'll pick you up at eight."

He says, kissing me gently before jogging off, Dude screaming at him to 'wait up'.

I laugh, but then realise that I have nothing to wear. I make a beeline for the exit, hoping that Evie could help me out.

Evie was a bit too excited to be helping me get ready for the date. She has been sitting at her sewing machine for a couple of hours now. I'm just watching Mal and Ben on TV.

I can hear Doug reading aloud from the dining room. He's studying for his next teaching lesson.

I wonder into the kitchen, finding an apple in the fruit bowl. I grab it and take a big bite, wiping the juice off of my chin.

"Annnnd... Done!"

I hear Evie exclaim from her dressing room and I make my way to her. She is checking over a dark green item of clothing and I wait.

I throw the apple core into the bin as Evie turns, smiling when she sees me. She produces a dark green playsuit that I absolutely love!

"Evie! It's perfect!"

I proclaim, taking the garment from her. She claps excitedly and I smile at her.

"Thanks, Sis."

I say and she immediately hugs me before whispering into my ear.

"I love you. Now, hurry off! You have a date!"

She says, shooing me away.

I open the door to my room, seeing Carlos on the other side.

"Woah!"

We both say in unison before laughing afterwards. Carlos offers me his arm and I happily take it. He then leads us away.

I don't know where we are going, but I don't care. I'm with Carlos, that's all that matters.

He soon leads me to The Enchanted Lake and I smile. I like this place.

He had a picnic set up on the grass and we made our way over to it.

"Is this okay? Jay recommended McDonald's, Mal recommended the movies and Evie recommended a fancy restaurant."

He says and I nod as we take a seat.

"What made you choose this?"

I ask, gesturing to the beautiful spread. He shrugs as he looks out at the lake.

"Ben. He took Mal here on their first date."

He says and I nod and immediately reach for an apple, causing Carlos to smile at me.

"What?"

I ask through a mouthful of apple. He shakes his head and reaches for a sandwich.

"Nothing, it's just, your love for apples is like Mal's love for strawberries. You guys definitely are Sister's."

He says and I smile proudly. Then, I remember what happened yesterday and I decide to bring it up.

"I didn't like seeing you with Jane. I thought you guys were getting back together. My Dad always told me that I am a lot of power. I guess since we were on The Isle, it couldn't come out. I'm sorry for yesterday."

I finally look up at Carlos, to find him already looking at me.

"If Jane had asked for me back, I would have turned her down. We'll help you learn how to control your power. You have nothing to be sorry for."

He says and leans in to kiss me, much to my delight.
