Meeting The Fam & The Name

Mirabelle's Point Of View:

With my new little Niece wrapped up in my arms, Ben leaves to fetch the others.

"Have you guys talked about names?"

I question quietly to Mal and she smiles at us.

"Briefly."

She replies and I nod, looking down at the sleeping baby.

The door opens and Ben enters.

Behind him is Evie, then Carlos and lastly, Jay.

Smiling, I stand as Evie and Carlos approach me.

I gently place the small bundle into Evie's arms and lean in to kiss Carlos.

"Oh! M! She's beautiful!"

Evie gushes to Mal and Mal giggles and takes Ben's hand.

"She's a looker alright."

Jay comments and I humorously shake my head.

"Does she have a name?"

Carlos asks and Mal and Ben share a look before Mal speaks.

"I like the second option we chose."

She tells Ben and he nods as Evie hands the baby back to Mal.

"Guys, meet Izzabella."

Mal says proudly and I smile and take Evie's hand while leaning my head onto Carlos's shoulder.

Three Weeks Later:

Dad didn't want to hold Izzabella, but did sit beside Mal while she held her.

Izzabella turned 3 weeks old today and Ben's parents absolutely love her!

Carlos and I are getting married next week and I have an important question to ask my Sister's.

I wait until I'm left alone in the room with Mal and Evie before I brocth the subject.

"Uh, guys? Can I ask you both something?"

I question as Evie rocks Izzabella in her arms.

"Of course."

Mal responds and Evie nods.

"Okay, well, urm, you know that I asked you guys to be my Maid Of Honours? Well, I actually wanted you both to undertake a more important role, only if you're both on board. I could ask Dad, but this day is about family, my real family. I want you both to walk me down the isle."

I say and I can see Evie's eyes glistening over and Mal smiles widely.

"We'd love to!"

They both reply in unison and I smile happily.

A Few Days Later:

"I love this, Mirabelle!"

Mal exclaims and I giggle.

"Evie knitted it. I just picked out the colours."

I say, discarding any credit.

"Oh, she's so modest! We did it together."

Evie says and Mal smiles and wraps up Izzabella in the blanket.

The front door to Carlos and I's house opens and he and Ben step inside.

Carlos immediately comes to my side and kisses me.

"How am I going to handle being away from you from a whole night?"

I ask him and he smirks and kisses me again.

Carlos and I are getting married tomorrow and Carlos is staying with Ben tonight while Evie and Mal stay with me.

Tomorrow, I will be Mrs De Vill.
