Since California can't decide what weather it likes, it ended up being a lot warmer than the day before. So I slipped on some jeans, a light top with a cami underneath, and some flip flops. I braided some of my hair and pinned into a ponytail. Trust me, I wasn't trying, but I thought I should at least look decent if I was going to meet some potential new friends.

*ping*

Shawn: hey meet me by the bus stop in 10

Ashlyn: aight

I grabbed some sunglasses, and ran out the door.

Shawn was waiting where he said he would.

I decided to have a little fun. "Boo!" I said, jumping at him from behind.

The look on his face was priceless. "You scared me!" he yelled. Now, I know where I've seen him! He was on the one gif from the Ellen show, the one where she jumps behind him.

Realizing that, I was shocked. "Dude, Shawn."

"Yeah?" he said, looking surprised at my sudden change in attitude.

"You're really famous," I said, a little awed.

He grinned. "Eh, just a little..."

"Oh, shut up. I absolutely hate when famous people are like, "I wish I was famous," I imitated in a snobby voice. "Like shut up already."

"Wait so you and your friend are both sassafrasses," he said, chuckling.

"For real, shut up," I replied.

We headed to some apartments, and Shawn pressed the elevator button.

"So, I'm not going to guarantee the apartment is going to be too clean, so I'd watch where you step," he said, nervously.

"I mean I'd assume a guy's apartment wouldn't be too clean," I said.

He laughed at that.

As we stepped out of the elevator, I looked around. It looked more like a ton of houses on top of each other rather than actual apartments. But then again, I guess having some fame attached to your name can be quite the benefit. I'd heard his friends were famous, but to be honest, I really didn't know who they were.

Shawn rang the doorbell.

A tall boy with the bluest eyes possible opened the door.

"Your eyes," I said, shocked. "Are they real?"

Both Shawn and the boy laughed. "Well, hello, nice to meet you too. And I think so, yeah."

I blushed. "Sorry, the eyes got me," I said, trying to laugh it off. That was a little embarrassing.

"That's okay, I'm a little used to it now. I'm Nash Grier," he said, extending his hand.

I shook it. "And I'm Ashlyn Davis."

Nash then stepped inside, and surprisingly, it was actually pretty clean.

"Nice apartment," I noted, looking around.

"Thanks," Nash replied.

"Johnson! Gilinsky! Matt! Carter! Hayes! Taylor! Get your butts downstairs!" Shawn yelled. "Too bad one is missing."

I stared at him. Did he really just call down 5 more guys? And there was one more? This ought to be a thrilling introduction.

Some boys, I'm assuming the ones he called, came running down the stairs.
