That's the way everyday goes
Every time we have no control

Chris and Eva always find each other at parties. Whether it's to make out, or to have sex, or even just to talk they always find each other. It's like they have no control over what they do, the only thing they can do is gravitate towards each other. So, here's where they're at, another party, together, as always.

Eva wraps an arm around Chris' neck and just lays her head on his shoulder. She sighs. The loud music pounding her thoughts. She can't hear herself think let alone anyone else.

"Want to get out of here?"

Eva feels a breathy voice against her ear. She murmurs a quiet yes. Next thing she knows Chris is pulling her hand into his and they're making their way towards the door. Once they step foot outside, she's met with the chilly, late summer breeze that doesn't leave her shivering, but rather more at ease and serenity. It's late at night and the streets are empty but the city lights keep Oslo alive more than ever. Her hand still in his, she continues to walk leaving him to trail along behind her. Eventually they fall into the same pace and he's walking alongside her.

They always seem to fall into the same pace. It's as if they live in their own little world, just the two of them together and no one else. Perhaps that's why they always gravitated towards each other. She was completely content with him being in her life and so was he with her. They didn't expect nothing more or nothing less. They just enjoyed being in each other's company.

Neither of them have spoken to one another but it's okay, the silence isn't awkward. In fact, it's comforting. Suddenly realising she had just walked in her heels for a solid ten minutes, she stops and sits on the bench. He plops down next to her and rests his head on her shoulder. They stay like that until the breeze hits them again, this time Eva shivers. Noticing that she's probably cold, Chris takes off his jacket and wraps it around the both of them. She whispers a soft thank you and he shrugs. They continue to cuddle and stare off into the distance.

Eva didn't know what they were or even what this was, but she knew he was going to be around for a while, and she was fine with it. After all, she had no control over it anyways, nor did he.
