Jess blinked at Billy who stared straight at her as they leaned against the lockers outside of the gym.
"Excuse me?" Billy cleared his throat and shifted his weight, understanding her uncomfortableness.
"I mean, could you put a couple of basketballs on hold for me while I change?"
"I'm not your valet." Jess turned to walk into the girls' locker room but Billy grabbed her arm and spun her around.
"Okay, okay..." Billy sighed and closed his eyes, breathing slowly. "Please?"
