SO WE ALL KNOW THE UA TRAITOR RIGHT
this is more of a fanfic idea than theory
But i might as well say it

So we all know that we have actual solid theories like of Hagakure or Uraraka

But what if the UA traitor wasnt a student.
Remeber that detective dude
Barely seen barely known
All mights best friend
Personally if naomasa was the traitor itd make it kinda a slap in the face

Hes very unsuspecting and also since hes a side character no one would think it could happen

Making him all mights friend would be even more heart breaking

Naomasa according to resources has a lie detection quirk
Depending on how it works i needa look into that but like i said this is just an idea not an official solid full proof theory

Just something to rip out the hearts of the fandom and make people cry if its able enough

Using his lie detection quirk hed be able to tell if a student is a traitor by interrogating them even if it took long itd still be useful in the end

Also the fact he knows about all mights secret
I havnt watched bnha in awhile (needa watch it again lmao)
But in alot of villian deku fanfics its always izuku who gives out the information that all might is wounded and weak.

Naomasa being a close friend of all mights enough to know his secret would be able to tell the villian league that all might is weekend

Him being a detective would give him authority to enter the UA school without looking suspicious
The whole melting the doorway for reporters could be a diversion to allow police on grounds so they can look at footage and investigate giving naomasa full access to the UA databse most likely and allowing him to secure all mights schedule.

Hes an unsuspecting character no one would see it coming and would serve as a great plot twist

The classic friendship betrayal
All might was quirkless i feel like motive would be jealousy towrd all might to get a powerful quirk while he has his plain quirk that can mainly only be used for detective work.

We always see the want for the need to be a hero in kids in this anime who is to say that wasn't naomasa's dream as well (probably somehwere and i missed it)

But it would be great for that
The betrayal
Then when all might is down
Naomasa watches as all might dies

I dont know how
Or why
Use imagination
But he dies
Naomasa witnesses it and gets eaten by his own guilt

Imagine midoriya finding that out
The impact
Someone all might trusted betrayed him over petty jealousy
Midoriya could loose it
Attack the traitor and cry out while aizawa most likely holds him back
And like in alot of fanfics
Become depressed
Isolate himself,stop eating regularly, balme himself for all mights death, have outbursts much like bakugou being mad at himself,overworking himself to the point of exhaustion and breaking himself thinking if onky he was fast enough to save all might.
His classmates grow worried and soon enough guess whos the one who steps up to knock sense into midoriya

Ding ding ding! Bakugou
Some people say ship fuel i say itd make some more sense
Bakugou maybe a bully but his character development shows hes trying to become a healthier rival toward midoriya

Him being childhood friends might be more impactful (most likely)
And him breaking character much like how he did back when all might retired except hes more emotional
The nukber one hero dying
Crime rates rising
The hero society in panic
And izuku loosing his mind by breking himself slowly
Even for bakugou it might be to much to see all in one go
So itd be a great chance to see that sensitive vulnerable bakugou again
Out of character and to much ti hope for,sure
But itd be great to see such a plot twist and unfold of such events
Imagine izuku crying mid fight
"CANT YOU SEE
ITS MY FAULT
IF ONLY I WAS STRONGER
THEN ALL MIGHT....
all might..."

Bakugou knowing what its like to blame oneself over all might
(Cos he balmed himself for all mights retirement)
It's not as big but be knows its tough to deal with self blame
And since its self blame of all mights death
Izuku will be torn especially since how much he feels hes indebt to all might

Bakugou i would love him to respond with something along the lines of
"CANT YOU SEE STUPID NERD
EVERYONES WORRYING ABOUT YOU
EVERYONES LOST SOMEONE IMPORTANT ITS NOT JUST YOU DAMN DEKU
EVERYONE KNOWS HOW CLOSE YOI WERE
EVERYONE CARES ABOUT YOU

I CARE ABOUT DAMMIT IZUKU SO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST STOP DOING THIS TO YOURSELF"

its uncharacteristic but its what would create more of a great bond as rivals
As a rival to someone in anime alot
An example is natsu and gray from fairytail yeh they are friends they are also rivals and they care for each other

So having your rival care for you would be a great way to bond them even in tough times like that

Bonus points if at the end of the story we find out the actual leader of the league of villians this whole time is an alternate universe villian dekuand itll be izuku vs izuku to save the world

Or Recovery girl is a secret villian
Thatd be funny
Cos
Imagine if her quirk
Allowed her to do the same thing genkais power from yu yu hakusho does (great series definate watch btw)
Genkais power allows her to use her power at a time she was most powerful(in genkais case its in her 20s)
So recovery gorl uses the persons stamina to aid their healing
What if she uses her own stamina to make herself youthful in a way
That'd be intense
