I. My White Moonlight

The sight of you my delight

Voices in my head starts to fight

Arguing fright of which is right

Falling for a bliss of flight

You are the pleasure in my sight

Creeping just as slight

If you look back I might lose the might

and want you more than just a sight

Left a bleak shadow of light

forever buried as time take its flight

Poem Explanation:

White moonlight is synonymous to first love that I learned from reading chinese translated novels which is often an unrequited love.

In my opinion this type of love remains unforgotten like a stain on your favorite shirt because it is never attained those scenarios wherein one cannot reach and one cannot let go. (it stays within that boundary)

I'm going to refer the persona as a "she" since I can relate more with people of my same gender.

The last words of each lines contains "ight" it is my own version of word plays (I don't know if this is a technique or it's a usual occurrence for poems)

It became a habit of mine | ͡ᵔ ﹏ ͡ᵔ| that inspires me to think of the next lines that gradually ends up rhyming and gives tune while it is read wholly.

This poem typically means what it states.

In the first stanza the persona is caught in the dillemma of liking someone while she weighs the pros and con but ended up falling for it.

The second stanza shows the infatuation of the persona on the aesthetic visuals of the person she likes and fears that it is just a passing but still yearns for the other party to atleast look back at her (or maybe return the affection)

She hesitates (●'⌓'●) if she should make the first move so that he'll notice her.

In the last stanza which only has 2 lines it retells how her infatuation ended.

She never gets to express her feelings ಠಗಠ and as time passes it is left forgotten.

Reflection Note:

When I like someone I like to have them in the horizon of my eyes
(ʃƪ ✿ ♡‿♡)occasionally.

(I like to look at them not like a stare though (◠‿◕))

[ in my country guys know that girls like them if someone keeps on staring at them, a little narcissistic ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌ but actually true]

Because I like that feeling of just having that person with me.

It doesn't matter if were not chatting or doing anything as long as I know that he's there.

There is always that someone we can never have even if we exert all of our best efforts and try to defy all adversities. ಠ﹏ಠ

It teaches that there are things in life that we have no control of.
We must learn to let it go not in the sense of giving up but to give ourselves a chance to try again.

There are times when people are caught in a situation that makes them react impulsively especially the youths and of course end up in a bad situation.

It is a normal phenomena because people naturally do what they are not supposed (*Adam and Eve).

We often get reprimanded but only makes us more irritated and encouraged to do things worst (*teenager's rebellious stage) thinking that it's their own life and they get to decide what they want it to be and hates being controlled, feeling like a bird in fact if they look into the mirror they might be left to recognize they have become a wild horse.

The good thing from this is that they will be forced to learn the lesson from their own experience.

It might seem harsh but it is the reality.
