Prom was in a couple of hours. I didn't  even have my dress or anything, John said that he'd take care of it.

           Training has left my body sore and tired. It didn't take me long, till I was ready to fight someone other then John.

"John are we gonna train on Saturday?" I asked making my way down the stairs.

"No, I don't your body too sore for prom." He said.

"Thank god." I said.

"I have a surprise for you." He said meeting me at the bottom of the stairs.

"Surprises?" I asked.

"Yeah I need you to put this on." He said handing me a blindfold.

"Why?" I asked taking it from him.

"Put it on and you'll find out." He said.

I put it on, then took Johns hand slowly following him.

    What the hell is going on? Is this a kink of his?

  "I'm going to count down from three, okay?" He asked.

         "Okay John." I said.

"Three, two, one, take it off." He said.

     I reached up and took it off my eyes and head.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, the prom dress of my dreams.

    "I told you I would take care of it." He said.

"John oh my god." I said.

     "You like it?" He asked.

"I love it, it's what I've dreamed of." I said.

    "There's some other things too." He said.

"Other things?" I asked.

     "Evey is going to bring them over after we eat." He said.

           "Did she make the dress?" I asked.

"Yeah she made all of it." He said.

    "Really?" I asked.

"Mhm." He said.

     "Oh my god, I can't wait to put it on." I said.

"She's going to come over, do your hair, makeup, just all of it." He said.

     "Oh my god, thank you so much." I said turning around and hugging him.

   "I'm glad you like it." He said

"What are you going to wear?" I asked.

    "You'll see tonight, now come on let's eat." He said going into the kitchen.

        I went over to the table and took a seat. I watched as he prepared our plates then bring them over to the table.

"When we get home tonight, I could make something to eat if you're hungry." He said.

"Oh I'm for sure going to be hungry." I said.

"Me too." He laughed.

Not even half way done, I heard the front door open and then her voice.

"Hello you two." She said as she walked into the kitchen with boxes in her hands.

"Hey Evey." John said as he got up and hugged her.

"You two excited about tonight?" She asked.

"Evey thanks so much for the dress and everything. I love it." I said.
