"renjun?!" mark immediately rose to his feet when he saw his best friend's figure falling unconscious on the floor. he ran to the front door to see what had caused his best friend to black out this way, and was equally shocked.

"hello mark."

"d-donghyuck?" mark looked at the boy standing in his doorway, tears welling in his eyes.

one detail caught his attention though; the two fluffy white triangles had disappeared from the top of his head.

the boy smiled at the mention of his name. "that's me."

mark started crying right away and jumped on donghyuck, embracing him in a bear hug.

"b-but how? i though i had lost you... i saw you dying... i was devastated." he said, sobbing in donghyck's neck. "how come are you here right now?"

donghyuck pulled away and planted a light kiss on mark's lips.

"i'll explain everything to you, i promise. but before, i think we should do something for renjun."

mark looked at where his boyfriend was pointing and gasped.

"oh shit!"

he crouched and carried his best friend with the help of donghyuck to the couch.

as soon as the two boys laid him on the soft fabric, renjun woke up suddenly, bumping his forehead against mark's.

"ouch!" mark exclaimed.

"mark! mark!" renjun widened his eyes. "i saw donghyuck! i swear a saw him! he was at the door and he-"

renjun's eyes widened when they fell on donghyuck who was standing next to mark.

"b-but... h-how? i-i mean... h-he..."

mark sighed, placing a hand on his best friend's shoulder.

"calm down. i don't know either. he's going to explain everything to us right now."

"s-shouldn't we... i mean... jisung?" renjun questioned his eyes never leaving donghyuck in fear he would vanish.

"good idea, go call him." mark told renjun.

"but what if he disappears again?" renjun panics, pointing at donghyuck.

mark chuckled, embracing his boyfriend in a tight hug. "i'll make sure it won't happen."

"okay then." renjun said before leaving quickly.

mark and donghyuck looked at each other for long seconds once the front door had been closed.

"i missed you so much..." mark said before pulling donghyuck against him.

"i wasn't gone for long, you know?"

"my mind had already registered that you were gone forever."

donghyuck chuckled, inhaling mark's scent. "were you about to replace me by that hina girl? or would you have preferred a random stray cat on the streets?"

mark pulled out of the hug and pinched donghyuck's sides.

"i was being romantic!"

"i'm sorry!" donhyuck said squirming. "i found it funny to tease you."
