Nikita's POV

I woke up next morning and saw that Ekta was not in the room. I checked the bathroom and she was not there. I saw her phone on the table. So, I assumed she must be somewhere near. I went to bathroom and got freshen up. I saw Ekta with breakfast in her hand. We ate it and later she went to take bath. After that I went to take bath. I came back with a towel covering by body and I was surprised to see mummy. She was talking with Ekta.

I was very much scared, as my body still had scars and bruises and I didn't want anyone to know about it. Mummy was looking at me in shock and surprise. She came towards me and hugged me tightly. I couldn't control my emotions and I cried. She noticed me crying and tried to make me calm by saying, "Oh! My poor child. I am sorry for all this. I couldn't help you earlier, but I want to make you a promise. From now on you will no longer be treated like this and if someone tries to do anything bad to you, will be punished severely. No matter whoever that person is, even if that person is my daughter."

I was very much touched by her words. I always wanted my mother to say this to me, but she never did, instead she did the opposite. Mummy told me that make-up artists are coming and they will help me in getting ready and then she left.

Ekta came to me and said, "Your mother in law is very sweet person and she likes you as her own daughter. I am getting jealous of you. Earlier I was worried for you, but now I am happy." After sometime the artists came and helped me in getting ready. Mummy had also provided some artists for Ekta and she was very happy. Ekta got ready before me and looked adorable as always.

It was around 1 p.m. I was ready and then my parents came. I was happy only to see my little sister. She looked adorable. My parents were also dressed quite well, but I hated them for what they had done.
