It's now 2 days later. I know I still haven't told Payton and I feel bad about it. But how are you supposed to tell your friend of 9 years that you have cancer. It's now 8 am and I'm sitting on chemo bored as always. My dad is probably sleeping right now. I was in my thoughts when I saw a teenage boy enter my room.
Eliza: Tommy?
TOMMY POV
I was sitting in my room on my PS5 playing with my friends when my mom yelled at me to come downstairs.
Charli: TOMMY
Tommy: yes mom
I walked downstairs to see her and my dad.
Noah: we figured out that Elizabeth has cancer
Tommy: no way like her mom did
Charli: yes so go to the hospital and bring her some flowers and stuff
Tommy: but mom I'm bus-
Noah: now
Tommy went upstairs and changed into a hoodie and sweat shirt.
Tommy: bye mom and dad love you
Charli: stay safe love you too
Tommy went to the store and grabbed flowers and candy. He walked to the hospital and asked were she was. He headed to the chemo. Tommy wasn't gonna lie and say Eliza wasn't attractive cause she was... very. Even though he's 13 he still can tell she's beautiful her personality and everything
I took a deep breath and knocked on the door
ELIZA POV
Eliza: what are you doing here
Tommy: I brought you some flowers and candy so hopefully you won't be bored and you can talk to me
Eliza: that's sweet but you don't have to I don't wanna take up your time
Tommy: it's fine
He sat on the chair next to her and handed her the stuff. She thanked him
Tommy: so how are you feeling
Eliza: idk it just sucks... having cancer you know it killed my mom and the thought that I can die to is just crazy. I haven't had my first kiss nor boyfriend yet it's like ugh-
Eliza: I'm talking to much sorry
Tommy: no it's fine I understand if I was in your position Idk what I'll do either your strong
Eliza: aww is the famous Tommy Beck calling me strong
Tommy laughed
Tommy: shutup mrs.polibio
Eliza: not fair you took my joke. To be honest is everyone at school talking about me
Tommy: yeah you have a whole ass memorial at your locker people don't know what happened
Eliza covered her face in stress
Eliza: I don't really want people to know like I don't want them to switch up on me just because I have cancer
Tommy: I understand
Mrs.Wilson: hi Eliza- oh who do we have here.
Tommy: I'm Tommy
Mrs.Wilson: hi Tommy well I'm going to be taking Eliza temperature and her blood
Eliza: did you say blood?
Mrs.Wilson: Eliza... please work with me
Eliza: no- no way a needle maybe but something that sucks out my blood HECK NO
Tommy realized she was deeply afraid of needles and grabbed her other hand.
Tommy: it'll be okay i swear just let her
Eliza looked into his hazel eyes and nodded her head. Mrs.wilson smiled and got ready to take the blood. Eliza turned her head to Tommy who smiled. The nurse entered the needle causing Eliza to flex her arm. They finished after 2 tubes and wheeled her back to the room.
Tommy: see it wasn't that bad
Eliza: yeah it was scary tho
Tommy laughed
Tommy: today has been fun
Eliza: I know thank you
Tommy: can I kiss you
Eliza: what?
Eliza said in shock
Tommy: nvm it's stupid I just haven't had my first kiss yet either and-
Eliza placed her hand on his cheek and his eyes attracted to hers. both of them leaned in and there lips attached they pulled back and there faces were a shade of red
Eliza: thank you for that if I die atleast I had my first kiss
Tommy: you aren't gonna die. Can I maybe have your number
Eliza: sure
Eliza gave him her number
Tommy: I have to go my parents are probably worried like always
Eliza: I get it bye
Tommy left and Eliza sat on her bed thinking about Tommy and his sweet, soft- she fell asleep
